  1. I don't need to watch Kelsay lug ten yards behind a tight end running after the catch anymore to evaluate him. Play Anotonio Coleman and Maybin and let's live with the growing pains. Bench Green and play Wang or Meredith - guys with upside. Kyle and Stroud should sit more as the year goes on and Carrington and Troup should take over. We're going to suck this year. Let's use the time to give precious playing time to the kids. We'll be much better for it next year.
  2. That's how we got Hangartner.
  3. Good way to end this Jim, go follow the freaking Patriots and revel in their cleverness and questionable morality. You'll be happier and we won't suffer dumb ass threads like this. What don't you get? They broke the rules, knowingly. Just becuase you think the rule is stupid is moot. They cheated. Deal with it. Now go ahead and enjoy your new team.
  4. Mostly because there a hundred threads like it every week and the same old crap gets boring. Especially piling on one individual player. Just gets old, but hey, that's what TSW is for I suppose so have at it. I just let my anger out about crap posts...so we all make out.
  5. He didn't say that for attribution, he was quoted in an article, or book say Buffalo had a "horsesh*t" line. This of course was entirely accurate. I do loathe the man but he knows the game and is a great coach. Not that Brady doesn't make you a great coach, but on the merits, BB is one of the best. His big worry this week is that his team just can't get worked up to steamroll us. That and Donte may go off the deep end when the Pats laugh at us again in the 4th quarter........
  6. This post is worse than the pathetic thread. Don't mind the thread topic, you just managed to get all the P*ssers and moaners to come out.
  7. Okay..everyone feel better after your little rant and sh*t fest? Donte's no pro bowler but he's a good player and cares. Not his fault he was picked #11 so get over it and whine about Maybin for awhile. God what a pathetic thread.
  8. Sir, I am with you 100% on that.
  9. I think the OP is on the money here. Now I just wish Buddy and Chan would finish the benchings and play our young guys take our lumps this year. With a possible "no season" next year, we should be playing our young guys and giving them prescious game experience. We also may end up with a top five draft pick two years running if there is no season next year. Play the kids.....
  10. Nice reminder of what's really important as we all bluster and argue on this page aobut a game.
  11. I hope they don't stop there. Bench Green and Kelsay and play young guys that have a chance of an upside. With the uncertainty next year for league play, why not develop the young guys? It's a two-fer. They will get precious game experience and we may end up with a high draft slot two years running!
  12. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/ Oops...did a search and still missed it. Mods can delete!
  13. Good call! He was aone old timer that could play today. 270 lbs, fast and powerful. I miss going to Sestak-McGuire's for wings back in the day.
  14. I may do it if the Packers would pick up part of his salary. $10 mil and not a starter? Still, better than what we have. Say what you want about Poz, he can't stay on the field.
  15. The radio boys are just baiting you so you will listen. The two of them are empty headed and really just hate the Bills. So do what I do...don't listen. You know what we need? A new sports talk host draft.......
  16. If you saw my post on Sully, you can just ditto it for Schopp. In fact, Schopp and lapdog pretty much parrot anything Sully says. So Sully writes that Chan is desperate for benching TE after two games, it's a no-brainer Schopp will repeat it ad nauseum on the radio and of course lap dog has no original thoughts in his head and agrees with Schopp more than Ed McMahon agreed with Carson. They just delight in being counter to anything that happens at OBD. That's just their little niche. Do what I do, turn them off.
  17. Bubby Brister's available.
  18. I get your point but I just didn't see value debating the merits of basically two QB's who don't belong in the NFL. I'm more focused on what's next and who's next. I say cut Trent and bring back Levi - play all our kids and lose the Kelsay's and Greens and othe retreads who have no future. Take our lumps this year and give some kids with upside precious playing time now.
  19. Apparently the OP read Sullivan's wasted space of a column this morning. Since when is moving your players around to create some synergy panic? That's why you have more than one player at each position. Sometimes you bench one and play another to get better results. If Gailey is in a full panic, what would you call Lindy Ruff's style? He benches players weekly. It's called "coaching" and you may want to study some other teams sometime and see that moving players around is not that rare.
  20. Yup. Jerry was once a pretty good reporter and is now just a media buffoon. It's his job to create controversy so his paper gets read and can sell ads to make a profit. His radio gig is the same...create controversy to get people to listen to either hate him or love him. So he's really no longer about sports, he's a entertainer who uses naysaying as his vehicle to get read and heard. If Chan made no move on the QB situation, Sullivan would have B'slapped him for being stubborn and married to a loser QB. Chan benches TE and now he's indecisive and "desperate." Sully could care less about real reporting and really about sports anymore. He's a media hound who is making some good bucks p*ssing peopole off. It's his schtick. If he bothers you, do what I do. I don't read or listen to him for the most part and when I do it's with the knowledge that he is no longer a sports reporter who cares about analysis or really about the game itself.
  21. So what does that have to do with a thread that bemoans the loss of JP Losman? Both TE and JP suck so why a thread measuring the depth to which they both suck???? That was my point.
  22. Derek, Nice post. I agree with almost all. You're right about our talent level meaning we have zero margin for error. Watching the game, I couldn't help but feel what a waste of time it it to be playing Kelsay and Cornell Green among others. We are in a complete rebuild. Put the young guys out there and take our lumps now and see if they grow and get better. Watching Kelsay lumber after an atheletic TE is not something I want to watch again. Watching Cornell Green move like Dancing Bear on speed rushes raises the question of how much worse would Wang be? At least he has upside. Let's move on and play the kids.
  23. This thread is ridiculous. Are we really going to waste time talking about which failed QB is better than another failed QB? Really? I'm out.....
  24. Good call on Chan's part to bench Trent. Now cut him and let's be done with it. Play Fitzy to the Bye and let Brohm finish the season. Why play guys that won't grow anymore or won't be here. Now that Trent's done, move on Marshawn and trade him for some picks. Let's stop playing Kelsay, Cornell Green and the like and put in guys who need the playing time to improve. If we are going to lose while rebuilding, let's not lose with washed up veterans or guys who won't be here next year. Play the kids and let's take our lumps this year.
  25. At the end of the day Chan did the right thing. He tried to rehab Trent...but realized early on that this guy is a coach-killer and moved on him. I would cut Trent now and sign Levi back and get Brohm ready to play after the Bye. Time to move on.
