I would have to agree. Why lose with Trent, Kelsay, Cornell Green and other vets and over-the-hill folk? Let's lose with Brohm,Wang, Maybin, Meredith, the young linebackers et al. They need the playing time and we're going nowhere. Let's admit it's a tear-down rebuild and collect some draft picks. I'm even thinking Evans can go if we get some value for him. We're doing ground up. Face it and let's do it right.

That's right. Many of us have been saying it from day one of the new FA regime, we are going to suck this year and it's it's going to be a tough rebuild. We've drafted poorly over the past decade and one draft ain't gonna fix it. You're best new players are last year's rookies. My only beef with Nix and Chan right now is let's just go for it. Lose Trent, lose Cornell Green, don't have Kelsay covering tight ends, trade Marshawn and play the kids. If we are going to suck, let's suck with rooks and young players who need the playing time and not with washed up vets and palyers with no upside. Screw it, put in Maybin until we know he can't play and move on him. Play the young linebackers. Play CJ. Play Brohm. Play Wang and Meredith, play Nelson and let's start with the total rebuild and be done with it.

Trent threads have come....and gone...for three years now. The only thing that interests me now is what kind of coach Chan is. If...no, sorry, as Trent continues to panic and check down on three man rushes....will Chan pull him and how soon will that happen? After last week, I give Trent the Green Bay game to show some skills and toughness or to get yanked and cut. In your hearts we all know it's time to move on. If I'm wrong and he blossoms, I welcome the beating I will take on TSW as we will have a real QB. If I'm right, we need to mitigate the damage now and put a guy in with some upside.

Agree...we're rebuilding and Buddy & Chan have a lot of holes to fill.

Ummm, the Patriots have more talent and are in a much diffeent place than we are. We're doing a ground up rebuild, what don't you get about that?

Absolutely right. O-line wasn't great but TE played scared even with protection. Sam Bradford outplayed Trent today. Give him another game and if it is more of the same you have to go with Brohm or Fitz.

Bell played well. Green was was a disaster. Trent was awful. Don't lose sleep over Bell, worry about the QB and RT. Why not play Merideth and Brohm. At least they have upside. Trent and Green are done.

This would be my take as well. I think we'll be much better offensively and our downfall will be at LB, particularly against the pass. Tight Ends and RB's out of the backfield will kill us this year.

Wasn't Steve's strongest performance to be sure. But I usually like when he does a game. Bentley has a lot of promise.
