  1. True that. Based on his Brown's performance you'd think he'd be coordinator for life. Come to think about it, Marv's first HC gig was pretty meh as well.
  2. Why don't we try Banyard before bringing others in?
  3. I think there's a lot to this. Sammy is a great example. His production is meager and likely won't improve until there are more reps with Goff. Right now they are not on the same page.
  4. I was thinking out loud.
  5. You're obviously not understanding the thread. All of what you state is due to McD's ego - period. Get with the program and lose the rose colored Kool-aid...or what ever the McD-haters have decided anyone in the non-McD hater club does.
  6. Wow, what an uncanny eye for running a NFL franchise you have. Five games in and you got it all figured out. Either that or you have an internal conflict with clapping coaches, which is to say, all coaches. I hope you find some peace in the weeks ahead.
  7. And so after 5 games you have McD all figured out? It's clear he's coaching for the long term. BB has a dozen-plus years body of work to review.
  8. Looking forward to Sunday. I've been practicing. J-E-T-S, Jets,Jets,Jets...
  9. Ego and vision/discipline are not the same things. He wants to suceed and "the process" is his discipline to get there. It feels like the Patriot way to me and if BB is all ego driven, I can live with McD having a similar big ego if the wins follow.
  10. The big bye-week news I suspect, will be that there will be no big news. No big roster changes and onward to next man up.
  11. Umm, this is a convo not worth engaging in.
  12. +1. SabreSpace is a FN cluster.
  13. Zay will be fine. It would have been nice if TT would have lobbed the ball at him when he was wide open instead of taking a sack. Could have built his confidence.
  14. So we have more combined yards than Chris Hogan. That's something to build on.
  15. Tough to argue against that. It's a perfect storm. TT just cannot make those around him better and those around him are not that good. Christ, that's been used so many times, yet like Beavis and Butthead, I keep laughing at it. Which is why folks on this board are asking the Peterman question. Does TT give us a better chance at winning playing like he did in Cincy? I really don't know. That game was ours for the taking.
  16. A lot of agita in this thread and it is built on unsubstantiated rumor. But for what's it's worth, I'd rather have a healthy and committed Dareus and Glenn rather than picks. If both are damaged, either physically or not buying in, get what you can and let's play this year out with the roster we have - like it or not.
  17. Fair point, but if your QB stands in quicksand waiting for a receiver to have to be open by a yard before he throws you'd have to all-pros at each receiving spot to make a completion. In this case, it is about the QB. He simply cannot lead a receiver with any regularity.
  18. Brandon LeFell had 74 catches as a starter on the Pats. It's about the QB.
  19. Umm, exactly my feeling. If only our damn defense could score more.
  20. Looks like he's a train wreck and was heading to the shite soon enough. He's an idiot. Exactly. Hang with hookers, knock one up, do coke on video, what could go wrong?
  21. Well, at least not a playoff team. No reinforcements are coming guys. We're going to play this roster and miss the playoffs again, all for a better future - that's the process. If Cordy gets healthy, they finally wake up and put Groy at RG, Dareus plays to his level and all the rest of the walking wounded return, it could be interesting. That said, likely we'll be looking forward to the draft by December.
