  1. I was pulling for us to draft him as well and happy we did. I don't want to play him yet but given a year for experience and get stronger with a NFL level training regimen, he could surprise and be #1 QB.
  2. Last I heard Dareus is competing for a starting DT spot, so stay tuned!
  3. Every position could use an upgrde, but we need better OL men, WR, QB and corner depth before we need better LBs.
  4. This. The OP is just throwing rocks in ponds to make ripples. Shaq is solid. So the criticism is that after four games, he's not Bruce or Reggie White - yet. Pathetic.
  5. During TC, the practices I saw had Groy manhandling everything in front of him. Why he is on the bench while Vlad and Miller take turns flailing is beyond me. We paid big bucks to sign Groy, play him!
  6. Clearly. He gets doubled a lot.
  7. Upon further review, that seems to be the case. Lo siento! Ditto. My mistake.
  8. But this doesn't count as a thread comment, because I wasn't commenting to begin with. It's just another inner self discussion that somehow made it to a post.
  9. Some day, I'm going to start my own TT thread. And it will be different from the other 2,340 TT threads. And TSW will respond with constructive and thoughtful conversation. It can happen...can't it?
  10. I agree. I was stunned at first with JWill being cut, but with him sitting on a PS it speaks to something else we don't know or something the rest of the league understands as well. Play Banyard and let's see what he can do.
  11. Why so serious? Really, Stevie was unpredictible in his routes with someone who worked with him for a full TC. He'd confuse the be-jesus out of TT.
  12. True that. Based on his Brown's performance you'd think he'd be coordinator for life. Come to think about it, Marv's first HC gig was pretty meh as well.
  13. Why don't we try Banyard before bringing others in?
  14. I think there's a lot to this. Sammy is a great example. His production is meager and likely won't improve until there are more reps with Goff. Right now they are not on the same page.
  15. I was thinking out loud.
  16. You're obviously not understanding the thread. All of what you state is due to McD's ego - period. Get with the program and lose the rose colored Kool-aid...or what ever the McD-haters have decided anyone in the non-McD hater club does.
  17. Wow, what an uncanny eye for running a NFL franchise you have. Five games in and you got it all figured out. Either that or you have an internal conflict with clapping coaches, which is to say, all coaches. I hope you find some peace in the weeks ahead.
  18. And so after 5 games you have McD all figured out? It's clear he's coaching for the long term. BB has a dozen-plus years body of work to review.
  19. Looking forward to Sunday. I've been practicing. J-E-T-S, Jets,Jets,Jets...
  20. Ego and vision/discipline are not the same things. He wants to suceed and "the process" is his discipline to get there. It feels like the Patriot way to me and if BB is all ego driven, I can live with McD having a similar big ego if the wins follow.
  21. The big bye-week news I suspect, will be that there will be no big news. No big roster changes and onward to next man up.
  22. Umm, this is a convo not worth engaging in.
