  1. This is exactly where we are. Let's just hope some folks get healthy soon.
  2. Agree on why Groy is not at RG. He's an immediate upgrade. Injuries are terrible, but we lost today because of poor QB play, and that's the harsh truth.
  3. Not sure at this point. TT was flat out terrible today. NP will turnover the ball more but at least he'll throw the damn ball before a receiver is wide open and jumping up and down for the ball.
  4. This. Face it. If he throws with just a little anticipation today and we win this game walking away. Bad receivers and all, this was a very winnable game and we should have. These are the types of losses that will keep us on the drought.
  5. Now that's funny. I'm conflicted. I think we would be better this year keeping last year's scheme, but McBeane are in this for the long haul. They must feel moving forward that this change will ultimately be the Bill's offense. But I hear what you're saying, This flip-flopping of schemes has cost us dearly.
  6. Hope you're dead wrong but this Sunday will be an excellent barometer. We're down to four wideouts and none of them are proven or productive. I expect they'll flood the box and dare us to see if TT to Clay can carry the day. That said, if our D shuts them down I can live with a 6-3 win.
  7. The media is big bandwagon, a greek chorus if you will. As a former media member myself (now media critic) they do little if any critical thinking and mostly write what everybody else does. When the team starts winning, they'll be on your bandwagon. If we lose Sunday, expect the worst. We win, expect their continued interest.
  8. Yep. They kept Banyard so let's see what he's got. McBeane signs and releases players every 8 hours it seems to improve the team, so why not try a simple move like dressing Banyard to see if we can jump start the run game.
  9. It's fun to sift through the old threads to remind someone of a prior post but I think there'll be plenty of fodder moving forward. I will miss the Skelton thread however. Good question.
  10. If only he could be paid like the NBA gets paid, he'd be great. 3-1 baby. I'll take wins over excitement.
  11. just waiting to count the bounced passes.
  12. It does seem that this year the refs are not letting the Cheats get away with their usual crap, OPI, pick plays and holding.
  13. Ha! Or Broadway Joe. He did enough damage on air after his playing days.
  14. I have been following this team since 1963. So I have seen many more spectacular dead spins than successes. So I was one of those after the FG that put us up by 6 in the last few mins against Atlanta immediately told my wife we would lose by one on a last minute Atlanta TD. It's just been our way. So excuse some of our dampened enthusiasm. That said, this team does feel different. I am energized.
  15. Interesting read. Seems feasible and in McBeane's wheelhouse. But it's hard to swallow that this could be an elite player and he's FN up a great career. You would think playing along side KW would keep him on the straight path. Umm, really? A few more posts like this one and your moniker will be most accurate.
  16. This has got to be the lamest ass thread that I've seen on this board.
  17. Well, Shady really made the play of the game on that 3rd and 6. I don't know how many backs could have pulled that off. That said, Tyrod was the best I'd seen him - especially on the 4 play TD drive. I am hoping beyond hope that's his new normal.
  18. And that's about it. It's a side show now. The bandwagon is overloaded and soon those who stand when everybody else is kneeling will be the new cool. How about all the socially conscious millionaires just play ball.
  19. I loved that spin move he made on an inside rush. He's smart and used his opportunity wisely. He's a great role model that young players would be wise to emulate. We're he here earlier in his career, he'd be wall material.
  20. Why all the fuss about a bunch of spoiled millionaires jumping on bandwagon? I couldn't care less what these guys think of anything other then their jobs. That said, Hughes comments were reaonsable as was Kelly's. Once all the patronizing and "me toos" subside the guys should think about what brought them to a stadium packed with thousands of people and is broadcast to millions - football.
  21. Wow, you need to get off the inferiority complex train. Ice is good folk. And given our record against the Pack, he is hardly being patronizing. We own them at home.
  22. You bet. I want to him in there firing on all cylinders. That front 4 would be fierce
  23. Gonna be tough in Atlanta. There have been holes in the zone coverage land Ryan can find them. Maybe they hang 28 on us but choke again.
  24. Seems so. Still I expected about 4 holding calls on Dion that thankfully never occurred. Miller is a beast, though suspect in his sportsman-like conduct.
