Opinions on this wonderful 2024 Bills season at 10-3
shane nelson replied to DeepPass's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well said, my only build would be G. A tightly intertwined team, where everyone contributes -
Bills only had 9 players on the field for the final punt
shane nelson replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
As my grandmother said, never trust the internet. i just watched the play, there were 11 men on the field. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtvwjLtVVAs Just watched the replay, there were 11 men on the field -
The only benefit from yesterday's game is proof that we can compete and win in a shootout.

Despite no SB, the Bills are dominating the division as NE did for years. Let's hope this continues for as long as NE's rein. .

Agree 1000% he took a scrape pile and made it a winner. His winning percentage is 642%, highest in Bills history. Yes he has his flaws, but all coaches do. What impresses me the most, even when he had an inexperienced team, is how he prepares after a loss. His teams almost always bounce back. Now just 1 big hurdle to cross

Nope, Sunday 4:25 is still the golden ticket!! Flex was designed to help prevent two dogs from playing. Seatle/GB is a big draw. Double bonus for the NFL

Ranking Bills Coordinators (McDermott Era)
shane nelson replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
With two rookie coordinators its really hard to rank them without a full season. That said, i think that Sean has built his strongest staff. For the first time we are finally playing complementary football. Hopefully it will keep building as we head down the final and most critical stretch of the season. -
He was a terrible coach with the Bills, still can hear him say "we won the off season". WHAT PLEASE HIRE HIM WOODY. PLEASE!!!! Rya n Woody perfect together

December 15th at Detroit is the Game of the Year
shane nelson replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
I read somewhere that they dont like to move 4:15pm games that are already big draws. Its still considered the golden hour, just like last weekend. While Phiily Steelers is a big draw, its not as big as Bills/Lions -
Woody Johnson suggested benching Rodgers in September

And to think the other team playing at MetLife is in even worse shape -
December 15th at Detroit is the Game of the Year

Hard to beat the same team twice in a season. If we lose, we just need to play them again!! -
Use WAZE, it will always give you the best path, i tended to use the Queenston bridge, but my reference point is old

Follow Hammer Lot on facebook, he generally publishes a time. And agree, arrive really early.

Like every game, the Bills MUST overcome 2 or 3 bad calls. Sadly it happens ever week to almost every team the NFL does not favor

This was suppose to be a rebuild year
shane nelson replied to BillMafia716ix's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree, this has been a major re-tooling and the team has played very well. Having Josh should always allow us to be competitive and we are blessed to have McDermott. Let's not worry about awards, probowlers or MVP. Let's win on Sunday and the accolades will take care of themself -
NFL officiating is broken. How do we fix it?
shane nelson replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Very simple, a very robust modern review process. If all the fans and announcers can make a decision on 10 seconds, then why can't officials? My thoughts: 3 video officials in the booth, decisions must be unanimous and made in 20 seconds or less on all plays. If they cant make a decision in that time, then the play stands. Should not really delay the games since the officials already take 20 to 30 seconds and at times longer to make decision. The NFL has by far the worst officiating in all sports, it needs to put integrity back into the sport versus greed. -
Bills signing Quinton Jefferson; Update..AND Jordan Phillips
shane nelson replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Phillips played really well here, was that scheme or his talent. We should know soon enough -
What is the future of the AFC East?
shane nelson replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
If played right and the chips fall our way, the Bills should replace the Pats as the perennial Division winners for a long time. The rest of the division will play catch up as long as Josh is Josh, just like we chased the NEP and TB for so many seasons. Clearly we need a ring or two before we are in the same category as this cheating bastards from NE. -
Week 11 SNF. Jets - Colts flexed out for Bengals - Chargers
shane nelson replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I recall reading that the late Sunday afternoon game is still considered "the big NFL show of the week" drawing the most viewers. As a result it is not moved that often. -
So wonderful when compared to the carousal of loses we had for 20+ years. Without a doubt he has flaws, most coaches do, but "you are what your record says you are" as Parcells would say. Overall McDermott has built a strong culture, developed a great staff, excellent player development "next man up" and united confidence with GM and ownership. What impresses me the most is his ability to lead through adversity. Even when he started as Bills HC after big losses, the team came back strong. He has always had the locker room. Now he needs a ring to prove he is elite.

Well said!!

Dont forget the Steelers, they are in equally in the mix with us!!

I have been staying downtown for years, it use to be sooooo cheap. However, post pandemic the rates are insane, it really makes no sense. I now stay at the airport. Half the price as downtown and the drive is about the same. Worse case, if dollars are the issue look at Niagara Falls NY

If Brian Daboll gets fired, would you take him as OC?
shane nelson replied to Doc's topic in The Stadium Wall
Odds are high he would end up on the College front as a head coach, all he and the HC were at odds during his last season.
