Where I come from, most cops don't ask nicely, they rudely demand...and they fill out their reports the way they want to in order to keep their butts out of hot water, regardless of the truth...and their buddies in blue back them because they might need the favor returned someday. That's the real world. Unfortunately, the video surveillance won't tell the whole story. Forgive me if I don't automatically believe the report.

Are you referring to the QB with the second highest active passer rating in the NFL at 96.9? - The guy that has the second best career rating in NFL history, behind only Aaron Rodgers? - The dude that has a higher passer rating than than legends Dan Marino, Peyton Manning and Steve Young?

I really don't think that's why many here are reluctant. It's about what will happen to team chemistry if VY hasn't learned from his past mistakes. I'm sure Buddy & Chan have addressed this & are on top of it. In any case, I think most of us agree that his ability far exceeds that of Thigpen...so I am reluctantly on board with this...for now anyway.

On an ESPN interview he said about 5 or 6 attempts for each trick on average, with the exception of the ones bounced off the net...those took more. He said the ones thru the basketball nets were the easiest. All in all, it doesn't look like he struggled too much to put that video together. I'm glad we're givin' him a shot.

I just watched them...wow indeed! I haven't felt this warm & fuzzy since last year when we were power ranked #2! Way to go Buddy & Chan! I'm pumped!

Well, a couple things are certain. He's got a good head on his shoulders & the right attitude. If it's at all possible, he'll make it happen. Secondly, his speed will have to be respected. This can only work to our advantage. Time will tell...gonna be interesting to follow his progress.

What has me thinking that perhaps you're right is what Buddy said concerning the trade up...something to the effect of ya hate to get so close & then miss out. That indicates to me that they obviously wanted this kid badly! Besides being a burner, he's a high character guy with a great pedigree. I have a feeling we'll all be pleasantly surprised by mid-season.

The way we fix this is to make a phone call to the Windy City & beg Rusty Jones to come back, & back it up with $$. Since he left, our beloved Bills have been plagued with insurmountable injuries, which have caused the wheels to fall off the cart time & time again. Our injury level was half when he was our strength & conditioning coach. I used to think our biggest mistake of a non-player departure was letting Bill Polian exit, but after seeing what happened to the Colts last year without Peyton Manning, I have changed my mind. I now believe letting Rusty Jones leave was one of the biggest mistakes of this franchise.

I'm hoping you're right. The draft guru's on the NFL network last night all agreed they would rank Floyd under Green & Julio Jones if all in the same draft. Between that nugget & the off field issues, I'm thinking we should pass on him.
