I just had stage 4 cancer...throughout my whole body & even in my bones. I was just declared cancer free a few weeks ago! If I would have left God out of it like you suggest, I would be dead now. Like it or not sir, He's in charge of everything. It's just that some things we aren't meant to understand.

It's obvious the OP was a toddler during Air Coryell. Nobody my age would call Dan Fouts a jerk for any reason, out of respect for that amazing team. It's also obvious the game today was an upset.

14 years is a long time for sure Big Blitz, and we're all tired of losing. But as I sit here, we're tied for first place and the Patriots are in sole possession of last place in the AFC East. This week, the glass is half full...not half empty. Let's stay optimistic!

You're on to something here! I just turned 60 & even I am amazed at the difference in myself now from 20 yrs ago. I'm so dang boring now compared to what I used to be, I sometimes put myself to sleep. I would have never done what Whaley just did...yet strangely, I'm thrilled he did it!

My favorite thing to do in life is to jab sewing needles under my fingernails...not sure why, it's just fun. My second favorite thing to do is to walk on shards of glass in my bare feet...what a high! My third favorite thing is being a Bills fan. The ending to yesterdays game was so exhilarating! I just don't understand why everybody in Bills nation is so upset!

I didn't think we were gonna win the game either and was getting frustrated toward the end... I just didn't express it on the board. Quite surprised we pulled it out, & I'm not upset with those that showed their negatively. Haven't we been well trained in this? But to me, this is a sign things are changing...the ability to pull out the squeakers instead of throwing the game away.

Gotcha, but I always go thru this phase where I dislike football in general after we lose a pivotal game, & I'm not sure if I've had a long enuf recovery period to enjoy football today. So was Thursday's game pivotal you ask? As was shown Thursday, 3 & 2 teams have over a 50% chance of making the playoffs, while 2 & 3 teams have a slightly over 20% chance. Add in EJ's injury & the Jeff Tuel factor, combined with the QB's currently available, and well...time for the familiar October battle cry..."N E X T Y E A R !" I'm so tired of that battle cry it makes me even wonder why I even like this game.
