I agree 100%! When Nix came on board, he was touted as our "football guy" & a tremendous evaluator of talent. At that time, I would say most of us on this board knew in our hearts that although Fitz had some good qualities (smart, somewhat mobile, quick release), that he was a career jouneyman back-up. The fact that Graham was the 69th pick in the 2012 draft, & Russel Wilson was the 75th pick speaks volumes. This fact, along with not being able to see what Fitz truly is, was justification for Nix getting the pink slip at the same time Wanny & Chan got theirs. The loyalty to Nix by Russ Brandon puzzles me. The majority of the fans wanted a clean sweep, & rightly so.

After watching Marrone's presser, & listening to Murph's interview with Hackett & Pettine, I agree with this 100%! There will come a point in time, and not too far into next season, when we'll all realize how mediocre our coaching staff has been over the past decade. Most of us already realize this, but I mean it's really gonna permeate our beings. I believe this crew is gonna be around awhile. They're gonna get us out of the gutter! Get your popcorn ready!

Oh man...you got that right! The guy is a beast! Watching him made me travel back in time to the "11 draft, wishing our picks would have been flip flopped with Denver, especially in lieu of all the controversy this year with Dareus. I hope the guy can someday live up to his billing.
