  1. Agreed, which is why I think most will be surprised if EJ is not the starter against the Patsies. I think the real question here is if Tuel beats out Kolb, will Marrone have the kahonas to appoint Tuel EJ's back-up, and even go so far as to release Kolb if two QB's on the roster is their plan. That would be super gutsy in lieu of the fact that they are both rookies.
  2. After laboring through all you've written in this thread, I've come to the conclusion that you should switch over to decaf.
  3. All I know is I'm with Beerball. I have a new girlfriend...she's got a new hair style...totally different personality...different body type...nice teeth...& a fresh look about her. What my old sea hag did last year is now totally irrelevant. I'm not even gonna think about her, let alone reference her. It simply doesn't matter at this juncture! I'm gonna give my new chick a chance & go in with a positive tude!
  4. I can't disagree with you, but I believe the winds of change have finally blown in. Should we bash Brandon for believing that too?
  5. Get ready to praise Mr. Dorkington! Think about it...Wanny's vanilla & ultra predictable defense has been purged. We now have a DC that understands how to keep the opposing offense guessing. We now have an OC who's gonna run the no huddle & properly utilize Spiller. We now have a QB who knows how to win & has the skills...(c'mon guys...you all know EJ will beat out Kolb). All this & more has to translate into several more W's.
  6. Thank you Mr. Buzz Kill. And howza bout you coming back on this board if they do start winning & give him praise for being right?
  7. Buffalo Bill Cody...older, seasoned & wise - unlike our team at this point in time.
  8. I don't think so. Immediately after Denver picked Miller, Buddy gave a wink & a nod, accompanied by a wry smile...as if to indicate we were now free to pick our guy & things went the way he had hoped. Now if Denver had taken Dareus instead, then perhaps.
  9. Feed Billy steroids...Feed Beerball beer & give him a red cape & a dagger...half time ...Sept 8th....50 yard line... Beerball & Billy go at it...Beerball gets trampled...Billy is slain!...2nd half...28 unanswered points...Bills 28 Pats 27...The curse ends & the legend is born!
  10. Someone FINALLY figured out what our problem is...kudos to Shoto!
  11. Dear OP: I've done the analytics on your desire. According to my calculations, you have about a 2.47% chance of landing this dream job through this forum. Now if you do what kasper13 has suggested, it bumps up to 39.28%. Good luck! We should all have our dream job!
  12. I love the way you cut right to the chase with so few words PTR. So....odds are extremely high we'll fail this year by not winning the SB. I suppose we can hope for this miracle, but it would be more realistic to hope that we're entertained by the 2013 Bills, and not end the season with that familiar sick feeling of having so far to go.
  13. I agree 100% - And the worst ever: The Steelers bumble bee uni's
  14. Good question! I have a feeling letting Levitre walk will come back to haunt us.
  15. It will be over when my mother-in-law sings
  16. I'm from the Buffalo area originally, & I now live in Steelers country. I love my Bills, & I have Bucco fever! Nothing would please me more then to see the playoff drought end for my two favorite franchises! Yank down the goal posts & raise the Jolly Roger on 2013!
  17. When I was a teenager, my mom was manager of an apartment complex in Hamburg where 13 of the Bills lived (1970-give or take a year or two), including O.J., Braxton, & Rashad. The day they signed their leases, it was my job to cook them lunch ...italian sausage, sweet peppers & onions. I clearly remember OJ wearing shorts & noticing the huge muscles in his thighs. Since I lived with my mom then, they were all my neighbors. Also, my dad was a sporstwriter for the Buffalo Evening News... (Now it's the Buffalo News). He used to get me on the sidelines with him at the old Rockpile. Many people thought I was Lou Saban's son. I was intructed to keep my mouth shut & blend in...so I met them all. I was pre-teen then. I had a very interesting childhood as a result of who my parents were & met tons of famous people. My dad got me in the dugout at an allstar game...there I was standing next to my heroes...Mantle & Marris. He got me in the pits at the Indy 500 the year Andy Granatelli brought in the turbines. My dad won a Page One award for his story on the "swoosh mobiles" that year! I could write pages & pages about my childhood. My life is relatively boring now compared to then.
  18. Well now, if Buffalos #1 Fan says we're not gonna be contenders this year, then it must be so! I'm calling DirectTV right away & cancelling my Sunday ticket...I mean, why even bother? Oh wait...Jim Mora is whispering somethig in my ear........
  19. Agreed, & Putin has a golden opportunity to make Kraft look bad by issuing a statement along these lines... "We understand that sometimes people have a change of heart when giving gifts, we will therefore return the ring to Mr. Kraft." I wouldn't be surprised if this happens. Kraft should have cut his losses & kept the matter to himself.
  20. Ok, I'll give his cohort the 20 centimeter thing, but I will never believe Kraft gave Putin the ring as a gift.
  21. Two thoughts on this: 20 centimeters equals 7.974". People usually don't stand that close to someone. Also, would you hand something extremely valuable & high in sentimental value to a known communist?
  22. Statistically, an adult human is more likely to be killed by a toddler than a terrorist. I could repect the new rules if toddlers were banned from stadiums!
  23. The dumpster fire you started with this cannot be extinguished with only one apology. Your behavior is reprehensible! Ok, I would like to apologize for the above statement. I exaggerated
