My buddy & I give our Championship game & SB predictions after the third preseason game ea yr. For this season, I predicted GB / Philly...He predicted GB / NO...with both of us predicting a return of the Pack to the SB & another victory. After watching the game yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if he's right & we'll be seeing this again. Amazing game! What a way to to start the season. BTW, for whatever it's worth, (not much, I know), we both predicted GB to go all the way last yr.

I am upset that they kept Thigpen & released Brown. Clearly Thigpen was outplayed by Brown in preseaon and Thigpen is not even close to being a quality NFL QB. If Fitz goes down & Thigpen is our guy, I'm not even sure I can watch.

Yes...we all know this...but the truth is Levi Brown blew his doors off as Joe 6 Pack stated. I don't care what you did years ago...what have ya done for me lately? He looked absolutely horrible in preseason! We all better pray Fitz stays healthy, cause if Thigpen becomes our guy, we're in a heap of trouble!

To further your point, the cheezers won the SB with 15 guys on IR. That speaks volumes to their depth. Joe Namath just had an interview on the NFL network & spoke of "Lady Luck". I agree with your assesment concerning our depth...we sure need Lady Luck on our side this year! Our firsts need stay healthy! Gailey was asked yesterday if he accomplished what he wanted to in the Detroit game. He said yes because nobody got hurt. I'm sure he knows that staying healthy this year is the key to a decent season.

Amen Bro! Merriman looks awesome! Dareus looks like a beast! The D overall looks great. On offense, Fitz looks like he's in command! Spiller is showing signs of "getting it". Easley, once he gets over his case of dropsies will be just fine. I really believe 4 & 2 at the BYE is a very real possibility. I am pumped! Get ready KC...9/11 is not gonna be a fun day for you!

Pathetic! I predicted a couple days ago on this board that Thigpen would get the pink slip & they would keep Brown. A couple of the guys responded saying no way. I stand by my prediction. If I was Gailey, I would have already made the decision & Brown would be in there now.

His delivery is hard to describe. He throws as if he has a ten lb wrist weight on.

Excellent Point - If you are correct, it will be sad to see him go. I had high hopes for the kid. I've seen a couple interviews with him & he's got a good head on his shoulders, a great tude, & he really wants to be an NFL QB. He's got a smooth release too. Someone will pick him up.
