  1. It all depends on his injury. If he's fully recovered by OTA's, then Nix is a genius. If not, then Nix is an idiot. It's that simple! Hang on guys...lemme check my crystal ball... Ok...my crystal ball says Nix is a genius! But I did drop it last night at a New Years Eve party while trying to see if I was gonna hit the lottery in 2011...so I'm not sure if I damaged it. DANG...if only we could know for sure! I guess that's what makes life interesting!
  2. Obviously, you've never met my wife.
  3. Not a bad post...'til your last sentence. Too much egg nog?
  4. Actually, I don't think it was such a shitey season...oh, a few shitey games perhaps, one in particular since our BYE. Either I've lowered my standards, or this team became entertaining. I think it's the latter, & I'm really looking forward to next year. And Merry Christmas everyone!
  5. I rather be stupid than arrogant.
  6. When real bullets are flying, continuity & cohesiveness trumps curiosity. Plus...these cats need at least one more win. To close the season with at least 2 of 3 division wins will do wonders for their confidence. Plenty of time to poke around when the OTA's start next yr. This is a no brainer in my mind. Give it all you got guys the next two games!
  7. Dang man...you were tuned in!...seriously! Which begs the question: What's your prediction for next year?
  8. I guess he just had to see for himself what most of us on this board already knew...that TE is a great QB...in practice only... that when real bullets were flying, he turned into blond diva in a mini skirt. Let's at least give Chan credit for two things: (1) That he only waited two games, & (2) That he ran him out of Dodge instead of just benching him.
  9. I normally like Collinsworth, but he definitely had a bad day at the office. My favorite was when he did a complete 180 on the helmet to helmet call. Even after he watched it in slo-mo, he stuck to his guns until the flag was thrown (the refs took 15 seconds to make the call...so they had a rough time on the call too), but Collinsworth would have never changed his mind if the flag wasn't thrown, and he had the luxury of slo-mo replay.
  10. I'll own up. I predicted before the season that TE would be benched before game four & replaced by Brohm...& that Fitz would be cut because of his innacuracy...so I was half right. He's accurate enough to suit me. Right now, there's only a very small handful of QB's I would trade Fitz for straight up. I believe we've turned this thing around & the curse is officially lifted. And to Harvey's post about playing Brohm now over acquiring continuity & learning how to win...man...what are you smoking dude? ... And to LV-Bills...granted, we haven't beaten a powerhouse, but hey, don't forget about the Baltimore & Pittsbugh games...oh so close. Let's get a few more studs around Fitz & we're playoff bound next year!
  11. It would be hard to justify taking a QB in the early rounds with Fitzwilly playing like a stud when we have so many other needs...& is a later round QB pick a logical move?
  12. I agree, yet at the same time I feel the next three games are crucial for him to nail the starting job down. It's all about winning the AFC East, & since we are playing our rivals, I think he needs to fair well. A clunker or two & we'll be rethinking this.
  13. AWESOME response! With any luck, we'll lose accidently... With Luck, maybe we can on purpose
  14. OK...please tell us all you were joking.
  15. Cosey...you may have missed the point that my beloved friend brenty was making. Nobody was comparing Fitzwilly to Peyton Manning. Just giving a shout-out to anyone that thinks the onus may be on Fitzwilly for our debacle in the dome... that even the great Peyton Manning can't get the job done when the supporting cast is wounded. That's as far as the comparison goes. I think every single person on this board would trade Fitz for Manning straight up.
  16. Wowzer on the post! Deep as a dixie cup! Now Johnny...that was mean. Go sit in the corner & think about yourself. When you decide you can play well with others, you can come back to your desk.
  17. Amen Bro...surround Fitzwilly with some studs, & we'll be watching his beard grow for an extra month! And RIP Dandy Don...you were awesome!
  18. Just 'cause you stole my sarcastic response, I'm gonna have to correct your spelling. It's P E Y T O N Manning...not Payton. Perhaps you're confused with Shawn Payton...or is that Sean? Dang...now I'm confused...thanx, er thanks! And the crowd moans, "GREAT...Bledsoe is hurt...now we gotta put in this 6th rounder. I wonder what this clown is gonna do?"
  19. Hey, PTR is one of the best posters on TSW. If he says Favre getting knocked out was a bad omen, I'm going with it. Even if he's wrong, he's earned the right to say something dumb once in awhile.
  20. This is a messidge fore the grammer poleece... Occifer, He is not undre the affluence of incahol! Hee's just not the brite-est bulb in the tool shedd...er, I meen the sharpest tool on the ferrice weele... er...nerver mined...
  21. Agreed. Have you ever noticed that the elite players in the NFL seem to be mature, while many of the wannabees, like Anderson, act like children? My dad was a coach & I can see him now pointing to his temple & saying, "It's all up here." The guys that have their heads on straight can rise to another level if they have the skill set.
  22. Great article! Every year about this time one can drive through western NY & hear our battle cry..."NEXT YEAR!!" I think it's been done out of habit. This year, however, it feels genuine! We are so close to being a playoff team. All we need is a few more pieces to the puzzle.
  23. WHEW! Love the humor! (I think). For the first time in years, we're looking like a football team. I was gonna suggest you join the flat earth society.
