Glory Bound

Even though we havn't won a game, I've noticed something different about myself while watching this year. I am not screaming at the screen for the idiotic play calling. In fact, I have been pleasantly surprised of late at the innovative calls. We certainly have our issues, but this is one area in which I think we have vastly improved under Gailey. Chan seems to have it together in this area. Anybody disagree with me?

I asked my buddy (a football guru) this very same question this morning before I read this post. He comes from the camp that believes practice makes perfect. He feels that Fitz, with continual work, combined with the desire...and good coaching, can resolve most of his issues. I sure hope so. It would be nice to focus in on our other needs next April.

I just watched Peyton Manning choke & throw an interception against the Eagles to blow the game. Honestly, I can't see the Colts being able to build a team around this guy.

This has nothing to do with stupid mental & physical mistakes. It's the D*MN curse man! How do we get it lifted?

Hmmmm?? Not so sure about that. My memory of him was that he didn't have quarterback amnesia. If he threw an interception or made a bad play, it would throw him into a funk that he couldn't seem to shake. He was more of a solid journeyman than a SB QB...but a great guy. It was so long ago though, perhaps I'm wrong. I was just a kid back then.

Sorry guys...this kind of thinking is as pathetic as our team is this year. Have you forgotten Vince Lombardi's famous quote? We can't even win a game when it's handed to us. We are the butt of jokes...even O'Reilly was mocking us the other day. And don't give me the draft argument please. We've already proven we're clueless on draft day. I guess when all else fails, lower your standards! Some sort of weird survival technique.

I got out the jaws of life on my wallet & sprung for the NFL to Go...an extra 50 bucks above & beyond the Sunday Ticket. I was tired of worrying about the feed being shut down, which happens. Of course, with the exception of last week, I don't think I would have cared if the feed was cut.

Simple...in the upper right hand corner click on the tab next to your name...then go to my settings > profile > change avatar. Then upload the image you have saved on your computer. You may have to reduce the size of your picture first.

Really & truly Green Lightning, when you mention Christ, you should be talking to Him...not us. If it weren't for Him, I might really be upset about my football team... and not the past...the present! Also, NO...ain't rootin' for the Pats, but thanks for the suggestion. It's not about purging...it's about bad football decisions. In less than 24 hours we'll be 0 & 6... this wouldn't be if good football decisions had been made. My plan is simple...put smart football people in charge. It's not rocket science!

Kicking him out of Canton is a little extreme Rico...& if all the incompetent business owners in this country were forced to resign, there would be a giant sucking sound in the universe as they depart. Face it man, we have no choice but to endure. With that said, I believe in supply & demand. If people quit buying tickets, somethng would have to give. Our new mantra should be "Boycott the Ralph!"

It was wasted because it was a luxury pick...& bottom feeders can't afford luxury picks. We had too many needs to fill, & running back wasn't one of them. With that said, I like this kid...too bad Gailey is not getting him the ball more. I can't belive how relatively few touches he's had.

And Darth, until that happens, there's no sense in even cheering for the #1 draft pick, 'cause this bunch would blow it.

I will go on the record right now & state that if the Bills win tomorrow, I will drive my lawn mower cross country waving a Bills flag...wearing only a pair of Buffalo Bills jockey shorts. And honestly, I'm a pretty busy guy & don't have time for that. That's how certain I am that the "Any Given Sunday" chant doesn't apply here. I hate to say this...& you didn't hear it from me, but at least under Dicky J we felt like we had a chance to win.

When Buddy Nix was introduced & I heard him speak for the first time, I literally laughed out loud. I couldn't believe that someone so hokey could end up as a GM of an NFL franchise. I thought, "Is Ralph going deaf? This guy's not too smart...we're doomed." Then within minutes Buddy confirmed my thought by informing everybody that he's not the smartest guy in the room, and now he's comfirming his own statement with his decisions. So ok...our problem was we didn't have a "football guy" pulling the strings. So now we have a dumb football guy pulling the strings. In two or three years, after we've won a half dozen games or so, if Ralph is still alive, maybe he'll figure it out & hire a smart football guy...but I'm not holding my breath. It's pretty pitiful when our most enjoyable chats on this board are BEFORE Labor Day...when there's hope.

Since our anger has subsided due to the BYE week... & since we're all getting a little mushy today, I have some confessions to make. The color yellow makes me sad. I found my confidence in Mamby Pamby Land. And to all those who wanna call me Jackwagon, I love you anyway!

Can you substantiate this by anything RW or CHIX has stated, or do you have inside information? Perhaps I missed an interview or two? I would have loved for this to have happened.

Yes T-Boy...That's exactly what I'm trying to get at with my post. Blind CHIX or Smart CHIX?...that is the question. The jury is deliberating & will render their verdict during our BYE week or soon after. But, at this time, it appears they are swaying toward "Blind". Dang I hope circumstances of the next three weeks dictate they swing the other way!
