Hi. My board name is Enuf-is-Enuf, and here are my confessions (as if anybody really cares). I too thought Fitz was gone, Brohm would be 2nd, & Brown would be 3rd...but my real confession is much deeper. I've been lurking around this board for years, & when I signed up in January it was to tell you all that I've been nuts for years, & that all you guys are nuts as well...for being die hard Bills fans. It was like a slow self torture...& I had had Enuf! Enuf-is-Enuf...as in I'm gonna be a die hard Cargers fan instead of a Bills fan...even though I grew up just down the road from Rich Stadium & watched it being built. I simply couldn't take anymore. But then changes were made...CHIX impressed me...and here I am...back in the saddle & can't wait for the Fins game! Now...my Enuf-is-Enuf stands for...enuf of losing seasons...it's time to start winning. The three videos someone posted the other day ...watching Tim Russert, etc., made me realize that this is something a die hard fan simply cannot walk away from...period. I apologize for trying. Please forgive me.

There will be an ugly & bloody brawl in early February at a ritzy night club in Miami Beach. It will be between a bunch of old men & a group of young studs. Trent Edwards will bust a champagne bottle over Don Shula's head, but he'll be fine. The no-name defense will be seen on national TV whimpering like babies. The '72 Phins will go home bloody & sober that night, as the 2010 Bills will have stolen all their champagne. 19 & 0 baby!

Agreed. Right now, it's logical for the average Bills fan to be saying to themselves..."Hmmm, Edwards has perfomed well the last three weeks. Maybe...just maybe his dysfunction of the past was the result of the bigger dysfunction of poor offensive coaching? The jury must remain out for a while. I'm pullin' for the guy." But no... it's obvious that Matthews has written off our four QB's. That tells me he's not really following the pre-season...that he's not really a Bills fan.. & that he just jumped on the skunk wagon with the rest of the doom & gloomers.

That was such a ridiculous thing to say on Matthews part. When I read that I almost spit out my coffee! In the old days, editors used to walk in offices with smoke coming out of their nostrils & bounce the writers head off the wall for such nonsense. Now this crap gets printed. Ummm....Matthews...NEWSFLASH: If all goes well, the Bills won't have a chance to get Locker. DUH! And if all goes REALLY well, they won't even want Locker!

Interesting thought, but I seriously doubt whether marketing played much of a factor in the draft...if any. If so, they would have picked Tebow #1. Secondly, I doubt whether Russ Brandon had any influence on draft day.

Well, I was on the negative side for at least a year...but he's shown me something the past two games. I watched the Bills/Bengals game last night & Edwards looked a lot quicker than he has in the past. Quick on his feet & quicker decisions. Did anyone else notice this? Evidently Gailey has noticed. Am I ready to call him an NFL QB...no! But I'm in the other camp now...I think he's shown enough potential to be the starter right now. But it's time to prove it when real bullets are flying before I will call him an NFL QB. If Clayton is off with his ranking, it's not by much...but hey, that can all change.

Yes they are...you can pick up on trends & potentials...you can get inklings...suspicions & gut feelings...Then you can piece it all together & figure it all out by game one, only to realize how wrong you were about most everything, then brag about the few things you were right about.

Yep...& every once in a while he's gonna escape the swarm, reverse field & take it to the house...wiping out those losses. I'm with you dog, don't mess with his God-given talent. How many home-run hitters are strike-out artists too? It's their batting average that counts...then add up the points.

This also impressed me! How many times in the past few years have we seen momentum swing from our favor to the opponents, only to never be recaptured? I would watch this & would say..."Here we go again...game over." It was as if the Bills collectively accepted defeat when the pendulum swung the the other way. If we can just get the tude..."Oh no ya don't...we're the Bills & we're taking this game", then we'll see some comebacks & win the tight ones. I think Gailey can bring this out of the guys. Spiller certainly has this attitude! My dad was a coach...if he said it once he said it a thousand times to the team..."it's all up here"...while pointing to his temple. He also taught psychological warfare in the army.

This vibe you're talking about...you are right, it's NOT swagger. It's EXTREME confidence which he brings forth in a humble, matter of fact manner. I love it! In his post game game presser, he mentioned how he feels the Bills can be one of the best teams in the NFL, if not "The Best". And the way he said it, you could tell he really believes it! Is this guy the only one on the planet that believes the Bills could be the best team in the NFL? The main thing he says, is to stay "healthy, & stay humble". As if to say those two things are the key...like it's a forgone conclusion...keep our bodies intact & our heads on straight, & we're #1. This is a complete 180 from Dicky J's whine...that winning is hard. I was against this pick...I wanted to address our line or QB situation. I'll flat out say it even before the season starts...Boy was I wrong! I wouldn't trade this guy for anything! I can see why CHIX picked CJ in like what?...ten seconds on draft day.

Doesn't it seem like this one guy has upped everybody's game? Combine this with better coaching, Trent maturing, Roscoe FINALLY being utilized properly, more discipline (less penalties), a few other things ... & hey, we may finally have an offense!

Let's not forget the suburbs of Buffalo. I went to Hamburg High...wayyyyy back. Hamburg is a very nice town. I used to hang out in West Seneca, East Aurora, & Orchard Park as well. Then there was "The Lake"...the hot nite spot back in the 70's. The burbs of our city are awesome.
