  1. 1. Trent Edwards 2. Ryan Fitzpatrick 3. Brian Brohm Go Levi! Roscoe as back-up
  2. My suggestion to you needs no re-evaluation. If you pray for someone to fail, you're setting yourself up for failure. "If you live by the sword, you shall die by the sword." It's the law of the universe. I'm simply lookin' out for you. I would hate to see you experience failure because of your hatred for an NFL quarterback...someone who you don't even know. I pray you think about this.
  3. Perhaps you should re-evaluate your prayer life...just a suggestion.
  4. I remember on an early spring day several years ago walking out to an old riding lawn mower that was in my shed. It sat in this shed thru the dead of winter. My grandson, who was with me at the time, asked me if I thought it would start. "Not a chance" I told him. He said, "yes it will papa, it will start right up." To which I said, "yeah, & I'm the King of England." Well...that 12 yr old kid was right!! To my amazement, it started right up! While it was sputtering, he shouted at the top of his lungs, "You're the King of England." Well, I about busted a gut laughing! My point you ask? Amazing things can happen! If the Bills make the playoffs, for our viewing pleasure, will you please post a video on youtube of monkey's flyin' outta your @$$ ?
  5. No, you're not asking too much. I hear ya. I think we all do. We're all ready for the turn around. Like my name says...Enuf is Enuf. It's time to start winning. I just can't help feeling optimistic right now, but I am every time this year.
  6. I certainly understand your "show me" attitude right now in lieu of what we've been thru since the Music City Miracle. I have a bunch of it too. I think what I'm seeing now MPL is intelligence. C'mon...I bet most of the guys on this board felt Dicky J was a smart man, but a slow thinker as HC. I could give many, many examples of this. I for one was sick to death of the deer in the headlight gaze, combined with head scratching & shoulder shrugs. Jauron could probably blow Gailey's doors off on a scrabble board, but on the gridiron it would be another story. It's called "street smarts" & toughness. Gailey has it, & several of our HC's before him didn't. I'll take a tough guy with street smarts any day. This is what gives me optimism. Jauron was the type at halftime, while being down two TD's to say, "C'mon men...go get 'em the second half." Gailey's the type to actually make the necessary adjustments & have a solid plan.
  7. The dude is either (a) Deep as a dixie cup, or (b) EXTREMELY busy
  8. Well said Die Hard! I'm with ya 100%! For the first time in a long time I feel as if we have a good head coach!
  9. OK, not sure how, in scenario #1 you think Fitz is given the pink slip, & in scenario #2, he's back-up to Edwards ahead of Brohm. Dang man, I thought you were our guru...now I find out you don't know any more than the rest of us. haha And ya know...I kinda disagree with you on Brown. Looking at his smooth release, combined with his stats last yr...along with the way his interviews reveal his character & fire...I think some team will snag him off the practice squad. If I had to bet, I would say your first scenario is the one.
  10. I'm with ya 100%! Some things are bigger than football. Lynch would have already been gone if I were running the show. I live in Steelers country now...Roethlisberger would be outta here too. High character guys only! With that said, I'm all for second chances...but the chronic idiots need to play in another league.
  11. Man...you have that right! It's hard to take them seriously when they write like 4 yr olds!
  12. Thanx Dan...great stuff! I say we cut Fitz, but keep his wife! Dang, we'll need something to look at when we're down by three touchdowns.
  13. Thanks Mike...great as usual! Howza 'bout making a prediction for us? Based on your camp observations, who do you think will emerge as our #2..Fitz, or Brohm?
  14. I knew you would question me on that. I'm an old fart "Peace", & I haven't been so excited about Spiller on our team since the Bills drafted O.J. I know, I know, he hasn't had a carry yet in a real NFL game...but wait. The guy has "IT". As for the second one, ask me at the end of the year. I believe Jackson, Lynch (if he's not traded), or Bell will put up some serious stats.
  15. True...they are a dime a dozen, but the elite backs are not. We have a couple of elite ones on our roster. Also, I do believe what Gailey has stated more than once is true...that a great RB can make your line look a lot better.
  16. Sweet for sure! I would be VERY surprised if he doesn't make the team. Amazing how your #1 & #2 RB's go down & you feel like it's no big deal. Both Spiller & Bell are more than capable.
  17. Thanx! Awesome avatar & awesome job on the site!
  18. Thanks Dean...either way, it's a tad too erotic for prime time. Do you think we should report it to the site moderator?
  19. I wanted to test this new site...so I'll ask a dumb question. I would like to know what the young lady in your avatar is doing...can you enlighten me please? Thank you!
  20. Look, I never said he would shine. I still don't think we have "our guy". To be honest, I think we have three bad poker hands. I just think he'll end up being # 1 in the pecking order by game 4...by default. Kinda like winning the ugly dog competition.
  21. True, but that's my interpretation as well. I have posted here several times....during OTA's before the pecking order was announced that Trent would be named the starter, with Brohm #2...& Fitz being cut...& by game 4 Brohm would overtake Edwards as the #1 guy, either due to injury or poor play on Edwards part. But that's just my gut feeling...I don't know more than anybody else. I hope I'm wrong in fact. I would like to see Trent prove his critics wrong...but I'm gonna stick with my prediction. Brohm seems to be more of a gamer, & Fitz just doesn't have the accuracy.
  22. I think it was Steve Tasker last night that said the current QB competition is for #2 between Fitz & Brohm..and that the loser of that competition would more than likely get cut
  23. Way funny! "Don't worry about that F Johnny...did you learn anything today son?" "Yeah dad, I learned that when the teacher slaps your knuckles, ya can't hit back!" I do believe the Bills learned some things from their Skins spanking
  24. Thank you for a legitimate response T-boy. Interesting...starting to think I may have graded too high at 92. If you attach #'s to Bryan Sullivan's report card (staff writer for MPNnow.com, he's giving an overall grade of about 88 to 90, which is unarguably a vast improvement over last week. I agree with his assessment that we didn't utilize our TE's enuf, which dropped his grade considerably. I still have confidence in Stupar though, & think Nelson has great potential. 25. So your kids suck in school, eh? (Sorry...couldn't resist)
