  1. Toward the beginning of your post I thought, "Ok...this dude needs to toot his horn", but when done reading it I did a 180. I am amazed at the length you & your buddy went to in order to prove your point & reveal the strength of Paea. Some team will snag him early on. Thanks for sharing your experiment.
  2. If Stevie would have had some of TGIF's JD sauce on his fingers, we would have beaten the Steelers. He woulda done a Super Dougie!
  3. My buddy & I dubbed this Super Bowl "The PEVRE Bowl". Please get the spelling right...that's P E V R E. When the Cheese Heads win, they will be saying "NO" to two perverts... (1) Lord Pevre (the adulterer), "We don't need you Lord Pevre" and (2) Mr. Pervburger...perverts are not winners. And BTW, I live in the heart of Steelers country... just tired of perverts. Believe it or not, some things are bigger than football.
  4. You don't have to beg for my pardon. The difference is we might actually win a bunch of games!
  5. Choosing between Ralph & Syder is like choosing between getting poked in the eye with a stick, or hit over the head with a baseball bat.
  6. As soon as I read the topic, I knew it was about Snyder... before even reading one post. I was talking to this guy the other day that has a good friend in D.C. that has a catering business & catered a party for Snyder. Well, there was a lot of food left over & the guy asked Snyder if he could take it down to the homeless shelter. Snyder refused, told him to throw it out... & said that if he couldn't eat it, nobody was. This guy seemed real sincere & swore it was a true story.
  7. Just spit my coffee out! Good one bbb hahaha!
  8. What amazes me is that he found ten women to sleep with him. I mean really... if ugly was electricity, he would be a power plant.
  9. OK...here's what you should do. Start over on this board...seriously. You only have a couple posts. Change your name & promise yourself you're gonna study up before posting...we'll never know it was you next time.
  10. Haven't we suffered enuf humiliation?
  11. Not to mention they get paid an amount that the average person would consider a large chunk of change.
  12. I would love to be in a financial position where $22,500 tossed into the wind is meaningless.
  13. I say move the game to Lambeau Field...that will fix it!
  14. I agree with all the positive things posted about Brown concerning his talent. One thing I would like to add to the conversation is his outstanding attitude. I've seen the guy in a couple interviews and I was quite impressed. He's got a good head on his shoulders and a real passion for the game. Not only that, he has a real determination to be the best he can be, and also to be a starting QB in this league. I agree with other posters that Brohm is done in Buffalo, and would not be surprised at all to see Brown #2 next season. I did not agree with the decision to release him, and I'm glad he's back.
  15. I remember reading somewhere that after Wade was gone, he stated that RW instructed him to start RJ. Did anybody else read this? Regardless, can we really blame Ralph, Wade, or RJ for that loss? After all, not one of them were on the field to miss a tackle on that kickoff.
  16. Thank you all for your participation in answering my initial question. After reading all your responses & digesting them, I am with the majority...thinking that 2011 is not the year for ultimatums by Ralph...perhaps 2012. I for one am gonna dig deeper & try to acquire some more patience. Hopefully, atlbillsfan1975 is on target with an 8 to 10 win campaign & we come close. Who knows, maybe the ball will bounce our way & we'll back into the playoffs.
  17. Well, we had the same owner when we went to 4 consecutive superbowls. I think it's just been a string of bad decisions, starting with the firing of Bill Polian. Hopefully, Ralph got lucky with Nix.
  18. Not sure the wallet thing works either...i.e. Dan Snyder I like your point though...perhaps 2011 shouldn't be the deadline yr. But can we endure another losing year?
  19. I said, "for lack of a better term". Things are always a little edgy during the negotiating process...then once the deal was struck, we were BFF's. Just trying to figure out the proper way to light a fire with this current staff. Gailey looks like a male librarian with his glasses continually peering at his play sheet...Jauron was Mr. Smug... I'm ready for some emotion from the top dogs. Maybe Wanny can bring it.
  20. You are correct, but I think most head coaches have a 5-tiered goal (1) Make the playoffs, (2) Win the division, (3) Acquire home-field advantage thoughout the playoffs, (4) Win the conference championship game & play in the SB, & (5)Win the SB. I think it would be a little unrealistic for Ralph to say, "Win the Superbowl, or heads will roll." Maybe 'cause he hasn't left the ultimatum beforehand. Also, I'm not with you on your percentage. I think it's at least 0.00000002%
  21. Keeping in mind the current "win now" attitude that has swept the NFL in recent years, isn't the Win/Loss record indicative as to whether the "plan" is working or not? And if not, why not clean house? How many quick turnarounds have we seen in the last 5 or 7 years? It can happen...& should happen, when GM's & coaches have the proper plan.
  22. Quite some time ago I had a frustrating few weeks while trying to negotiate a deal with my business. Finally, I had enuf. I scheduled one last meeting & walked into my opponent's office (for lack of a better term) & started the conversation like this, "I'm not one to leave ultimatums, but..." Well, he immediately interrupted me at that point & said, "Sometimes ultimatums can be a good thing...at least you know where the other person stands. Where sir do you stand this day?" Well guess what?..we struck a deal that day! My question is this, I know it's a different situation, but should Ralph leave an ultimatum with our current GM & coaching staff? "Make the playoffs in 2011 fellas, or most of you are gone." Would this approach up their game, or be counter productive? Opinions please....
  23. I know...sometimes I think that we all can get a little too serious about our team at times. After all, it's only a game. Interjecting a bit of humor into these threads periodically is important. If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's that the past decade has been frustrating. If we don't laugh, we'll cry.
  24. HAHAHAHAHAHA Gut laughing here RJ...Good one!
