  1. I am confident Jerry Hughes will be a Bill because it's the most attractive place to play in the NFL if you are a pass rusher.
  2. Replace the motor for sure but don't go for the cheapest motor you can find. You do get what you pay for. Your overall systems aren't that old yet. You have plenty of serviceable life left in them. Depending on what you've got, you can get another 10-11 years out of it before you have to start thinking big $$$ on a system upgrade. For some heat pumps, it "can" be a DIY job because it's a relatively easy swap on some models. Also, as someone said, you get your heat back right away too.
  3. I add this to the conspiracy theories about the Panama invasion I've heard over the years: 1. The CIA was concerned about Noriega seizing the Panama Canal since CIA ran drugs, guns and mercs trained at the School of the Americas through the canal; 2. The CIA wanted Noriega's drug contacts and trade as he was a competitor to the CIA's business; 3. Noriega and many of the colonels and generals in the PDF once completely in power, would reveal major intelligence and secrets regarding his/their role in Iran/Contra, the CIA, and both Presidents Reagan and Bush and probably would have brought down President Bush;
  4. Amen to that. I think for playoff games, overtime should be a full quarter, period. I offer that rules about eligible receivers needs to be changed. The Patriots have weeks, if not months to design those plays yet the defense has at most a few minutes to figure out how to defend it and that's where the advantage lies.
  5. I enjoyed watching Christian Okoye play. Great player. Great individual. If it weren't for injuries, he'd be in the Hall of Fame today.
  6. Doug Marrone is one very unusual man. Nothing he's done since the end of the season has made sense to me.
  7. The reason I don't really want CJ back is that he doesn't block and he's going to get whatever QB we have out there...killed.
  8. May be in the minority here but I don't want the Bills to break the bank resigning Spiller.
  9. If I were him, I'd just transfer to another school to play. Thinking you've got what it takes to play in the NFL after three freaking games is nonsense.
  10. The new Bills stadium has to be a special, unique and revolutionary building especially if it's going to be downtown. I want the PNC Park/Camden Yards of NFL football fields. Don't want an overpriced cement dungeon.
  11. That stadium design is not inspiring. As someone else said...it is a rather generic ripoff of RWS.
  12. If we have to hand out money for people to be motivated to improve their lives, it would have been better if the government would pay for your degree IF you graduated on time (in two years) with at least a B average.
  13. I think the Bills QB situation in training camp will resemble their head coaching search. We will be dizzy with all the QBs in camp from all over the place. Incumbents, free agents, a trade guy, a rookie and probably for good measure, a CFL guy.
  14. The day a game changed an entire franchise.
  15. The thought of this happening reminds me of the opening scene of Damnation Alley where Jan Michael Vincent and George Peppard are down in the silo turning the launch keys for the nuclear missiles.
  16. Add another one to the pile of forgotten names...Keith Armstrong, ST coach with the Falcons. Interviewed with the Bears, Eagles, Jaguars and Chiefs when they had openings.
  17. Seeing so many coaches offered up as potential candidates got me to thinking about coaches we used to talk about that are in theory, just as available as a Bill Cowher or Mike Shanahan. Guys like: Brian Billick Jim Fassel Butch Davis Steve Spagnuolo Jeff Jagodzinski Kirk Ferentz Mike Tice Charlie Strong Rob Chudzinski I'm sure there are others. Why do these guys disappear off radar screens but the Cowhers and Shanahans are permanent fixtures?
  18. I like Winston Moss, Assistant Coach for the Packers. I think he'd be a solid hire.
  19. John Hufnagel Jason Garrett (should he be fired) Winston Moss
  20. A lot of the teams with openings have terrible or very fickle ownership. Id be stunned if he opted out from Buffalo in favor of the Yorks, McCaskeys and Johnsons of the NFL universe.
  21. Pretty women in the world are a dime a dozen. Bills playoff game easily.
  22. IMO, I think he informed the team about that decision a while ago. Playing him Sunday was doing him a solid.
  23. No. I have seen enough. May be in the minority but I do not think he is a very good football player. Athlete yes. Player no.
  24. What do the Pegulas owe Manuel or Orton? Not a thing. The organization does not need to keep either guy to "save face". Even morso if Marrone & Co. get cut and they bring in a football consultant. Different owner. Different time by default. Wouldnt surprise me to see both guys on other teams in 2015.
  25. I say yes. I think he only came back this year to try to avenge the dismantling they got in the Super Bowl. He looks exhausted. He's got a career ahead of him in broadcasting and television or even coaching where he'll make money. With all that talent on offense, the Broncos just need competent quarterbacking. Hard to come by yes considering our predicament but they don't need a HOF to score touchdowns there.
