  1. If I were him, I'd stay in NE and take over after BB retires. None of the Belichick coaches have had long term NFL coaching success outside Foxboro.
  2. I'm one of those 12. He didn't do well. It wasn't a knock out performance and she was far more smooth, practiced. However, she's the status quo candidate. She did not do a good job in telling anyone that the status quo should effectively keep "quoing." She lost because she didn't seize the opportunity to tell that story ahead of the future debates that are going to get mired in the foundation, her emails, her foreign affairs record. She had to talk about how it's morning in America and she did not. Get out ahead of what's coming.
  3. That defense is absolutely tragic. Full of "I've heard of hims" that can't tackle.
  4. I am voting for Trump but I don't think he did very well last night. IMO, he needs to relax and talk about how the status quo isn't working for a lot of Americans. Whether it's deliberate or not, last night's debate was a mirror image of his performance in the first GOP debate. That being said, I think the Democratic strategy is not a winning one. She spent the entire night trying to make Trump look terrible and it's all old news everyone has heard by now. Her best bet was to focus on a positive future, not him. Lester Holt was bad. He was wrong on the stop and frisk "fact check" and he set Clinton up to get crucified over her shortcomings in future debates.
  5. It'll be interesting to see if Lester Holt still has a career by 11pm tonight. I don't understand why he agreed to be a moderator of this debate. He doesn't have the gravitas of Tom Brokaw. He can easily disappear just like Candy Crowley did.
  6. ..because I didn't care. Didn't watch the game. Didn't check in on it. Didn't listen to it. I treated the gorgeous Sunday afternoon as if the Bills were on the bye. I do find that the less attention I pay this team the better they perform so maybe I'm the root cause for the last 16 years. I'm pleasantly surprised. Thought the Cardinals were going to come in and wallop the Bills.
  7. People are getting bored with the product. I'll add one to McNasty's fine list: It's football 24-7 now. Too many talking heads, too many shows, too much coverage. Too many national games with the same teams and the playoffs always have the same teams. There's no newness, no suspense. Oh wow. Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady in a Super Bowl ?! Absolutely astonishing.
  8. http://www.pennlive.com/news/2016/09/spooky_clown_sightings_no_laug.html#incart_river_index http://www.wfmz.com/news/poconos-coal-region/clowns-spotted-in-pottsville-reportedly-yelling-at-children/41762308 The ones in Pottsville certainly have a death wish.
  9. "Patriots beat Bills with no professional quarterback on the roster" That my friends gets you fired. Don't be surprised BB rolls with Edelman as the starting quarterback just to see what happens.
  10. The Patriots will bring 48 year old Jeff George out of retirement. He will throw for 450, 3tds.
  11. New England coaches are hot, wet garbage anywhere but Foxboro. Matt Patricia is one of the smartest men in football because he gets it. IMO it's because the corporate intelligence apparatus behind the scenes that BB has built there in Patriotland takes years to build with the right people and you don't have it nor the time to build it when you coach somewhere else.
  12. The networks aren't permitted to go to commercial break if she has an episode at a debate. http://drudgereport.com/flashny.htm I'm sure they are spending all of this downtime before the debate medicating and resting her to perpetrate the lie that she's "healthy". IMO, it helps pace out the infusions she gets. Infusions are rough on the body. You don't bounce back immediately from them and you are at your best a few days after them.
  13. The Texans are a poorly coached team that ran into the juggernaut of superior coaching last night. That Texan defense talent wise should have dominated the Patriots.
  14. Not sure if you've read the book "Game Change" that chronicled the behind the scenes of the 2008 campaign. It's a good read that I think you'd find interesting. What you see there in the video is exactly what she did when that dismissed "Barack Obama guy from Chicago" started to overtake her in the polls.
  15. You can. However if you want to lure some kids, yell at some kids, threaten schools or stand on some private property, yes, you could be beaten severely. The movie IT set back clown-society relations 50 years. Everybody sees Pennywise. Everybody wants to grab a bat.
  16. He looks like a guy who deserves to be tazed. If he's doing that in public, you know it gets worse in private.
  17. The Eagles are a poor comparison. The Browns and Bears (besides being terrible competition) had no regular season corporate intelligence on Pedersen or Wentz whereas the Ravens and Jets had plenty on Ryan and Taylor. The Eagles also rebooted that entire team this year jettisoning Kelly and nearly all of his hand picked players. A complete unknown. Now that there is two weeks of tape on the Eagles, don't be surprised that Wentz all of a sudden looks like the rookie he is.
  18. These clowns are going to get the beating of their life or shot. Or both. They may instill fear in some parts of the United States. In others, it just invites generally well-adjusted people (and parents) to be violent vigilantes and purge some aggression. Nobody likes clowns. Or mimes.
  19. "The Clinton event was billed as “lunch with Hillary Rodham Clinton” and had four donation levels to attend. Those contribution levels were described as $100,000, which featured “chair reception with Hillary,” $33,000, which included a “host reception with Hillary,” $5,000, which included “preferred seating” and $2,700." Such a candidate of the people. Other than determined to elect the first female president, I have no idea why she has the support she does in some corners of the American demographic. I doubt there are many college students or people who work for a living who are going to can shell out for preferred seating at $2,700.
  20. He's about as establishment as it gets and is voting for the establishment candidate. It's ironic because Team Clinton despises Team Bush. Plus he's in his 90s and probably doesn't care.
  21. The Eagles have played the Browns and Bears. Two teams with bad defenses and bad offensive lines. Just keep that in mind before elevating the Eagles to NFL supremacy.
  22. As expected, Clinton will do an event tomorrow (9/21) and then goes radio silent for several days until the debate. https://hillaryspeeches.com/scheduled-events/ She has just one public appearance scheduled between the first and second debates.
  23. Do big money cornerbacks ever meet expectations with their "new" team?
  24. I think the fatal blow to Hillary's campaign will be that Donald Trump simply out hustled her in the last 90 days. The Clintons never faced an opponent that has the energy and drive of Trump. Bush, Dole and McCain took days off and took it easy, letting surrogates do the work. Romney let his foot off the gas around this time in 2012. People saw less of him and more of other people they don't care about. She does one event a day - he does three in three different cities. I don't think she's got the health to change that either.
  25. There is a group of Bills fans that are enamored with old to downright elderly coaches and former executives. Here are the ages of some guys commonly discussed on the board: Wade Phillips (69) Bill Cowher (59) (Out of the league since 2006) Bill Polian (73) (Out of the league since 2011) Ernie Acorsi (74) (Last full time job was in 2007) Marty Schottenheimer (72) (Last coached in 2007) Tom Coughlin (70) Joe Banner (63) Carmen Policy (73) (retired from the NFL in 2004) Pete Carroll is the league's oldest coach at 65. Shouldn't the discussion about any new blood in the front office or on the field be solely focused on men and women who have been successful in the current construct of the game and the league?
