What is your gut telling you right now?
NeverOutNick replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
My gut tells me if Josh doesn’t turn it over and the refs stay out of the game, we win -
I agree with your tiers. Spot on. The rest is very debatable since we beat KC in KC just a few weeks ago but yes we’re injured so we’ll see. Just feels like Buffalos year if the swifty refs stay out of it

There were moments even before that. 2:30+ seconds in the second quarter and on the Steelers side of the field we throw it 3 times after running it down their throat earlier. Killed no clock and they had all there timeouts and scored a TD. Even before that the refs thwarted our momentum getting a 3rd turnover on the clear fumble recovery. Lots of moments we could’ve blown them out early and rested guys who didn’t need to get hurt. BUT it’s never easy for our bills. We’ll take all this past 3 years of chaos and use it as battle tested armor to win it all this year. It’s time

Shout out another “elite” HC like Mike Tomlin
NeverOutNick replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
This means Tomlin was outcoached? We start out hot after a couple turnovers and then struggle the rest of the game to find momentum because the Steelers keep fighting and you think this means Tomlin was coached? Interesting -

NeverOutNick replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
You really think we won that game yesterday because Tomlin was out coached by McD and Brady? Bradys lack of running the ball from mid 2nd quarter to end of 3rd cost us blowing out an inferior opponent. We won that game despite incompetent decision making on the coaching staff giving up big 3rd and longs again and again. We won that game because we have the best player on the planet under center. We won that game because of these battle tested PLAYERS who have seen it all. Thankfully our coaches didn’t totally blow this game in spite of our amazing team. I would take any remaining playoff head coach (besides Tampa) and his staff 100 times out of 100 over ours and because we have the best all around team in the league and we’d roll to a Super Bowl this year with an “elite” HC and staff -
Agree. I want to like him but he looks lost and indecisive. Even the interception, although awesome, was a last second “whoa the ball is coming at me” play. Hopefully he was just rusty and thankful he got the int but don’t want to have to count on him vs chiefs
-
He did a good job but I almost threw up in my mouth when he celebrated our coaching staff at the end of the game. Good win but the game should’ve been over much sooner if Joe Brady ran the dang ball and didn’t take that quarter and a half break

Wild card round - Steelers @ Bills - 1st half game thread
NeverOutNick replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The talent on this team is unbelievable! We have the best team in football and the best QB on the planet BUT our coaches lack situational awareness. 2nd and 7 a little over 2 minutes left in Pittsburgh territory. YOU RUN THE BALL! It gets down to 2 minutes and then at worst it’s 3rd and 5 and we get them to burn a timeout and kick a FG. Just awful decision making and it’s the biggest reason every game is a nail bitter when it doesn’t have to be -

And now it’s a 2 score game because our coaches are morons. So dumb Brady. Run the dang ball on 2nd and 7 you moron!!! Romo nailed it Would’ve been 2 minute warning and then we come out of break at worst 3rd and 5 close to FG range and no time for Pittsburgh to score. we have the worst coaches when it comes to situational awareness -

Game Thread: Los Angeles Rams at Detroit 8:15 PM ET NBC
NeverOutNick replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hate referees! They need to find some way to punish them for horse 💩 calls. No one in the entire world thought that was a false start. It was 1000% Offside and a first down with the lions at minimum in FG range with a minute to go. Hopefully Goodell will one day fix the biggest problem in the NFL. Horrible officiating that never gets changed -

Super wild card weekend schedule is all wrong
NeverOutNick replied to Xwnyer's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s the easiest fix ever: All AFC games play Saturday All NFC games play Sunday ’ Makes for an amazing weekend of football and no conference gets screwed by scheduling advantages. AND no one gives a rip about Monday night games -
I did chuckle a little, but honestly until we beat the Chiefs in the playoffs and make it to a Super Bowl ourselves with this coaching regime, I’m not talking any smack.

Guess they forfeit if they can’t make it 🤷🏻♂️ -

And it’s not even the “rest” it’s coaches and players have 2 extra days to plan as well. I’m sure they’ll at least give us a Sunday game but it’s ok we’re the bills and if this is our year we’ll find a way -

Yeah that’s the only part I don’t love is we kind of get screwed next week -
Steelers @ Bills. Monday, January 15th at 4:30pm.

Good thing we have Joseph and Jones 🥳 -
Ya probably not the chargers first choice since he’s about to be 73 but definitely an option

My early predictions for coaching hires. This changes a bit if any playoff teams fire coaches. Patriots - Mike Vrabel (easy) Seattle - Dan Quinn (easier) Washington - Harbaugh (near his bro in opposite conference with owners who have a lot of money and get to mold the new franchise QB, Drake Maye) Chargers - Ben Johnson (they miss out on Harbaugh but get the next best offensive coach for Herbert) Raiders - Antonio Pierce (easy) Falcons - Bill Belichick (seems like the guy Blank would want) Titans - Bobby Slowik (stealing a rival OC to help mold Levis) Panthers - Ejiro Evero (who else besides Eric Bienemy are going to want this job)
-
I was just talking about this same thing with a buddy. Don’t love McD but if he gets us to the promised land then maybe Babich should be the DC and then McD humbles himself and hires a big moments coordinator to be in his ear as well lol
-
If I was a team looking for a HC my #1 call would be for Harbaugh, 2nd would be Ben Johnson. Vrabel is a great leader of men and would be good for a team that needs a culture change but for a team that has a potential franchise QB that needs some nurturing I’m looking for an offensive minded HC. I don’t know if Cleveland has an OC or if stefanski handles all of it but that offense just kept going with all of the chaos and Chubb getting hurt early on. I’d look at him, I’d look at Baltimores OC, Monken I believe, who did amazing with Lamar, even the Texans OC, Slowick, who helped Stroud have an unbelievable rookie year with hardly any weapons.

What Changes Would You Expect If Steelers Win?
NeverOutNick replied to Dick_Cheney's topic in The Stadium Wall
We lose to the Steelers, there is no excuse or anyone else to blame, McD gone -
Oh this would be amazing! Can’t see it happening but we can dream.
