  1. No, it would be more. That’s why teams do deals early. It’s a risk but it could be a great deal for the Bills. It’s almost like some posters on this board don’t know that several DT’s this off-season signed extensions at 21-24 million per year. And Chris Jones and Quinnen Williams haven’t even gotten theirs yet. Chris Jones signed an extension 4 years ago that is similar to what Oliver just agreed to. It’s not that much in the grand scheme; especially if he gets more consistent
  2. No it’s not. Like 4 DT’s just signed extensions this off-season at 21+ million per year. That’s top dollar. Oliver is getting middling money.
  3. The Cards have a 22 million dead cap hit this year. I don’t think there’s any way to lessen that because he’s not a post June 1st cut. If he were it would be 11 million this year and next. They chose to get it over with. I want DHop because teams can’t double him and Diggs. If they did Knox, Kincaid and Cook would go berserk. Knox and Cook too.
  4. Whatever it takes. Can’t double Diggs and DHop. I’m willing to pay the price with Terry’s money.
  5. I’m all for it. My point was DHop ain’t coming for dirt cheap. It’s a business for him too.
  6. That was the name of DC’s Arena League team back in the day
  7. Different era. You can’t make a comparison that’s relevant.
  8. If Von put him on Beane’s radar then Beane needs to clean out his operation. He has a pro scouting department whose job is to tell him about players who can help at positions of need that are on other teams or other pro leagues.
  9. He can move. I hope teams put a LB on him.
  10. I doubt it. OBJ is in Baltimore and DHop is still in Arizona. They didn’t do him those favors. Ray probably showed good athleticism, they could use another pass rusher and they bring 90 to camp. Why not sign him?
  11. Games start in August. Meaningful games start in September. Until then, you should get a hobby that occupies your time, not the next person’s.
  12. It was the decision they needed to make. 1. We don’t know what the Bills investigation turned up but it’s always possible other information could arise that they couldn’t foresee. 2. It would be a distraction that was bad for the team as a whole. Players would be asked about it constantly and the players would have no information one way or the other. An organization is not potentially derailing their season to keep a rookie punter they can’t definitively say is innocent (even if they think he might be). 3. There most definitely should be legal consequences for any woman who lies about sex crimes. But I don’t fault the Bills for making the decision they did.
  13. Hurts is a more athletic Tua, with a stronger arm, more durable and available to play. That kid is legit. I think he’s better than Tua.
  14. Beane McDermott might not see either of those positions as a need. He seems to like who they have in the building already. We’ll see how that works out.
  15. Brown’s play last season had me thinking worst scenario. I hope it was the result of his back keeping him from training like Beane said. Way too many jail breaks on his watch.
  16. I hear you, but if Brown has issues again they will need to try something else.
  17. They don’t really play the same way. Kincaid is a jumbo receiver. They can use him like a WR in alignment. Knox is a traditional TE.
  18. I’d bet DT next but I’m good with Oline too. Give us all the big uglies.
  19. They are different styles of player. Kincaid is a jumbo WR. Very athletic, smooth, good hands. He’s a matchup problem. There’s nothing to complain about with him. It helps us because he’s a legit weapon in a passing offense.
  20. I think you undersell a healthy OBJ. And like I said, some teams are willing to take chances to win. They needed WR help badly. And they needed to show Lamar they were willing to help him. We’ll see how it works out.
