  1. Great minds...
  2. I think the Colts make it, not because they're good, but because their division is garbage. I think the Eagles turn this around. Their offense looked comically bad in parts of September last year, but eventually got it together. I don't feel that confident they'll make the playoffs, but I expect they'll be competitive. I'm still not buying the Jets. They've been better than I thought, but a week 1 win over Cleveland and a not terribly impressive victory over a seemingly mediocre Colts team doesn't have me convinced.
  3. I haven't read the thread, so forgive me if my take is stale, but I still feel good about Taylor. For the middle quarters he looked lost. It took me back to games 3 and 4 last year. He couldn't feel the pass rush, couldn't read the defense, was afraid to throw down the field, and just looked overwhelmed. But the way he fought back in the late 3rd and through the 4th is encouraging. I expect growing pains from a guy in his second start. It's how he responds that tells the story. The types of mistakes make a difference too. 2 of those INTs we're off the hands of a receiver. They were too high and I still put them on the QB, but the point is they weren't the kind of head scratching mistakes you can't correct. A guy who throws 3 TDs and runs for another is showing the upside on the field to make me believe he can be the guy. Time will tell, and he certainly has a way to go to get where we need him to be, but I'm still on the bandwagon for now.
  4. To go a little OT, if Forest Manning carries his team to a SB win with what's left of his arm, and KJQB and the Colts watch the playoffs from the couch, does Irsay look like a stooge?
  5. How many of you got on a knee and started praying?
  6. Fred would have helped protect TT on 3rd down and given him an outlet.
  7. Well you're not invited to have beers with me and TGreg.
  8. Glad he's ok. Now let's get back to ripping him for his dumbass penalties. He needs to get his **** together.
  9. I fully expect a win against Miami. I didn't but the hype going into this one, but if we lose to Miami I may burn my bible and swear off football for life. They're not a good team.
  10. If Johnny Unitas and Joe Montana's black sister had a kid he'd be EJ.
  11. Half way through the 3rd I thought we were the same old Bills. After the last 20 I think maybe, but maybe not. TT seemed to settle down and make some plays. Is this the Fits Bills that would bring you back only to choke, or a solid team going through growing pains? I don't know. I'm not happy, but at least I have hope. Edit: Agreed on Glenn. I'm tired of the idea that we need to appease him because he had a promising rookie season. I like having him but he's not worth premium LT money.
  12. There was no substance to your post. This follow up clarifies it if there ever was any doubt to begin with. You claimed that it's racist (or it's equivalent) to have misgivings about a religion, then somehow tried to support that belief by pointing to the Iraq war. If you're into authoritarian theocracies that punish homosexuality, prostitution, and drug use with death then that's your business, but let's not pretend the only basis for "discriminating" against such a philosophy is something analogous to racism.
  13. How about describing a plausible scenario where one of these supposed carbon reduction plans makes a significant impact? I've been asking that question on this board from years and all I get are crickets (actually, I think Lybob once at least tried to answer the question in a non-retarded fashion once, but that's it). If it's so obvious how about giving a brief explanation.
  14. You say it like it's a bad thing. Do you honestly look at the Islamic world and see no problem with how they roll?
  15. No, hangover style and I'm Bradley Cooper. You and Rush can fight over who's going to be Ed Helms or Zack Galifinakis.
  16. I don't know if it counts as a man crush, but I have this dream where me, Gugny, and Rush Limbaugh are all best friends.
  17. 1. Do you hate poor people? 2. Do you reject science? 3. Is forced segregation desireable? 4. Do you covet racism? 5. Do you hate children? 6. Is it wrong to murder unwanted babies? 7. Is freedom still relevant? 8. Do you want to ban birth control? 9. Should homos be re-educated or cured? 10. Do you really oppose Obama's policies because he's black? If you answered no to any of these you failed the test (but if you said yes to any you passed because we know you secretly agree with all this ****, you racist !@#$ing Republicunt).
  18. Funny thing about libs. If you put up a nativity scene and would prefer that gays not marry then they think you're the scum of the earth. But if you toss homos off 4 story buildings because the Koran prohibits man on man butt love, they're not only ok with it, they'll denounce anyone who has a problem with you. And without a hint of hypocrisy. It's true. Cuntservatives don't support free markets because they think it is the most efficient way to raise the overall standard of living. It's because they hate minorities and want them to suffer.
  19. Treat it like a street fight. Knock the **** out of Brady and anyone who dares to catch the ball (except Gronk; that might backfire). Then run the ball down their throats.
  20. I assume there's a reason they don't do this, but I'd run him straight up the gut early in the game with the instruction to lower his shoulder and plow right into linebackers and safeties. Pick up a few yards and start wearing those guys out. I imagine they might lose a step after having the snot knocked out of them a few times by a powerful 230+ lb freight train of a back coming at them at full speed.
  21. Exactly. You can crawl back under the bridge now.
  22. Tell us again about how much you love Fred.
  23. Strangely enough, I'm suddenly less upset with Whaley for cutting Fred. It's easier to wrap my mind around it now.
  24. I don't believe he's a Christian at all based primarily on how he thinks, acts, and talks. He never sounds more disingenuous talking about anything as much as when he talks about his Christian faith. It's about as believable as when Buffaloed in PA says he loves Fred Jackson. I obviously can't read his mind, and I suppose it's possible that he truly believes that God planted his only son in the virgin Mary, a son who lived without sin only to be tortured, nailed to a cross, and left to die for our sins so that we can go to heaven for eternity. He may believe that, but I don't buy it. I think his "faith" is a facade created purely for political purposes - Not unlike his opposition to queer marriage.
