  1. Ignoring those who disagree with you is a sure sign of a closed mind.
  2. The problem is that kicking the cap hit down the road means you plan to have him on the roster longer. If he's elite in year 3 then all is well. But if he's just a guy in year 3 then we're probably just eating it.
  3. I doubt that. We may rework Mario as an extension, but if the tread comes off McCoy's tires over the next couple of years there's no way he gives up guaranteed money to help our cap situation.
  4. I will because we had him under contract for this season and next anyway. What did we really gain by the extension? Better than being called "Boobie"
  5. I thought the trade was fine. But I have no idea why we gave him a huge contract with so much guaranteed money. Why throw big money at an aging RB you already have under contract?
  6. Indy just got gifted a TD in the 4th qtr of what was a 3 pt game. If this were the Bills I'd be livid. They called a phantom face mask on Clowney to turn a 2 yd loss into a 15 yd gain, a ticky tack (at best) defensive holding call to turn an interception into 5 yds and a first down, followed by a PI call on an uncatchable pass to put Indy at the goal line with a fresh set of downs. Utter horse ****.
  7. I'm not going to predict Ws & Ls, but it looks to me like we only have 3 games against good teams going forward. NE, CIN, & DAL are good. KC & NYJ look decent but neither is particularly scary. The rest range from average to bad. I don't expect the Bills to win all those games, but if we can't finish 10-6 with this schedule then this is not a very good team.
  8. Oh well. !@#$ the Lions.
  9. I've said many times, I'm fine with honest disagreement, but I have no tolerance for blatant dishonesty, and knowingly conflating legal and illegal immigration like you just did is blatantly dishonest and renders you unworthy of respect and deserving of scorn.
  10. Imagine if you had run down your mother's leg only to be mopped up off the brothel floor.
  11. Apparently raising wages for middle class workers at the expense of raising costs in the market generally is a good thing unless it happens naturally in the market.
  12. I had prepared for (hell, kind of even hoped for) a loss today with my QB and WR1 going against the Bills. I just thought the trade-off would be a Bills win. Instead I get injury to go with the insult. This sucks.
  13. Why, yes. Yes we do.
  14. I'm glad I didn't drink during the game. This would have been infuriating and depressing. As is, it was just a bummer. We're not as good as we thought after last week, but I think we're better than it feels right now. It's still early. The talent's there. It's just a matter of whether they can clean it up and put it together consistently.
  15. The defense played fine. If you keep giving Eli the ball he's eventually going to score points. The question from this game is whether this offense had an off day or if last week was a fluke.
  16. Guys who are drafted early by the Bills are more special than their peers.
  17. If I didn't know better I'd swear you were the inspiration for Dumb and Dumber.
  18. I predict the Bills and Pats will both finish 15-1

  20. WTF? I bring up a baseball fight between two grown men and rather than talk about who was talking **** and who woulda kicked whose ass you guys prefer to talk about actual baseball. The maturity level on this board leaves something to be desired. And I haven't cared about the Mets since Strawberry left NY. Speaking of Strawberry, he was always up for a good fight. I bet if he said "let's go" he's be ready to go.
  21. I thought that Patriots game was agonizing. Not even because of egregious favoritism, but just because it's no fun to watch a game when a flag nullifies every other play. It's like watching a basketball game that degrades to a free throw competition. I don't know what the answer is, but it seems there are either too many rules or the rules are too stringent because it's getting ridiculous.
  22. It's rare that individual liberals advocate for added taxes that will burden themselves significantly. Plus, they support taxing income, not wealth, so once they're established their false altruism serves to help insulate them from others over whom they enjoy a comparative advantage. I seriously doubt you or many of your feel good liberal friends would support any of this stuff if you honestly believed someone was going to take half your wealth and take home pay, even if it did help the poor.
  23. This is a prime illustration of what liberalism is all about: Feeling virtuous about advocating for someone else to address society's ills while you live a self-serving life.
