Interesting Diggs Split Stat from The Athletic
NoSaint replied to inthebuff's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea, without context it’s near meaningless as a stat. that said, he’s definitely leaps and bounds ahead of everyone not named Josh keenan Allen and Mike Williams have each missed significant games. To say some have missed games is underselling. -
Devin Singletary not scoring a TD with 34 seconds left

if he ran in and bass slipped and got 17 yards on the kickoff we would’ve lost our minds. -
I’d still trade careers

hell if we are that scared of bass slipping on a chip shot - who is to say he doesn’t slip trying to boom a kickoff -

but not about a blown coverage or a DB slipping if we give the ball back? -

a lot of guys think it takes heroics and highlights to be doing to confident and correct thing sometimes it’s being smart and well prepared with an attention to detail and not simply being flashy it would be absolutely shocking if they didnt -

Also, most importantly, even if rare there’s no reason to risk home field advantage in the AFCCG just for lack of attention to detail -

yea, cause the only mishandle is it flying away, not slipping to the ground right in front of the holder -

had Sanchez said “brilliant play, the kick will end the game” instead of “omg he didn’t get the first down” the general reaction would been different for many here. -
to be fair, if incomplete itd have been an epic meltdown here. It was one of the spots he was right in pointing it out. that said, I was amused that he acted like he and Josh are playing the same sport even. They are under different laws of physics

that’s the big thing here- this isn’t 6, the side has had dozens. Probably multiple since the last he sat out. We will see how this one affects him. that expert would probably tell most of our team to hang it up. football is a tricky one. When these guys get hurt we want to see them make the right choices for their families but they are all at risk every time they go out there.

his goal there needs to be first downs and not simply 3 runs

Cowboy's sign star WR, and it's not who you think.

it’s great that TY was more productive years ago but next Sunday they are probably a wash as smaller speed wrs that have lost a step and are street free agents in December for a reason -
it’s terrible reading of the room. after a rough outing it easily comes across as “shut up you don’t know what you are talking about if you are critical of me” that said, I’m not saying his intent is I’ll but it sure is easy for someone to take it that way

I definitely am worse. I don’t claim to be among the top 100 or so in my role in the world. he’s still not living up to his part though.

Orlovsky: Bills aren't as talented offensively as we thought
NoSaint replied to Billz4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yesterday was bad weather, penalties, drops and not particularly inspiring play calling… but also until we figure out the Gabe Davis issue I’m not sure the offense reaches its potential. Whether it’s his skill set, injury we don’t know about or scheme - he needs to be a more complete contributor at WR2 if the offense is going to be fully successful. It takes pressure off of everyone else if that’s role is fully contributing -
or the same stories only go so far and he’s figuring out life as you get deeper into the career. Plus you’ve heard him a lot this year. honestly though, I think just a case of narrating games for 60+ hours a year is a lot of volume of talking and some will be good but some will be clunky

If he’s medically cleared and better than the next best option…

Wait, someone puts up with you in real life?!?
