  1. Hopefully Jess is more Rocky tomorrow than Apollo Creed.
  2. I think it’s completely fine to have made an initial judgment at draft time, re-assess that judgment now, and then re-assess it down the road too. I HOPE that Coleman is a HOFer and that Worthy’s best game ever just happens to be last night. That said, I think there’s a lot of denial and rationalization of the Worthy trade happening right now, versus recognizing the evidence that we’ve allowed our nemesis to pick up the fastest WR ever, all the while knowing that Andy Reid has capitalized on that kind of talent over-and-over in his coaching career.
  3. I heard the average starting position in the preseason was even the 28 yard line, so even less incentive to risk a return if you have a kicker that can kick for the touchback.
  4. if Coleman and Carter can ball out for the Bills and we eventually get by the Chiefs, I will be happy as a clam 👍
  5. It’d be like giving Russia nuclear secrets in exchange for something. Yeah, they might figure this stuff out on their own eventually anyway. But, to help arm your nemesis with something that could come back to haunt us is what’s questionable.
  6. Agreed. When you’re as fast as Worthy AND get blocking like that, the TD looks easy.
  7. And even if we preferred Coleman for what we want to do over Worthy, does it make sense to allow the team we are trying to get past to have that weapon? If we don’t make the trade, it’s possible another team takes Worthy before the Chiefs get him. And at least we aren’t the ones to blame for it then.
  8. It’s completely rational. Before last night, it was already a questionable move to allow KC to move up and select the fastest WR ever. And then the same player goes out and gets a 20+ yard rushing TD and 30+ yard receiving TD. They were saying on WGR this morning that in past however many years, only five players have accomplished that feat in a game. Four of the five have been on Andy Reid coached teams, including the likes of DeSean Jackson and Tyreke Hill. It’s totally rational to have been skeptical of the trade when it happened, and at least continuing to be skeptical after last night, if not more so. It’s irrational to not be skeptical.
  9. There’s no doubt the crowd will be heavily backing Jess. Sabalenka will be really tough to beat, but would be an amazing moment if Pegula can pull off the upset.
  10. If Josh earns the 1 seed this year and still doesn’t get the MVP award, then I’ll complain.
  11. If only he had feet more the size of mine
  12. Who is the bigger tool, Collinsworth or Shawn Hochuli?
  13. Terry sighting 👀
  14. Just won 2nd set, going to a 3rd 👀
  15. James Cook drops that, we’d be livid
  16. Lamar ain’t gonna be MVP this season
  17. I’d go Denver of the three options. Don’t like Seattle getting to 8 wins at all, especially given their division. Bears seem plenty capable of taking a big step this season, if Caleb Williams is actually any good. And while I’ve been a skeptic of Sean Peyton at points, he somehow got that team to 8 wins last year and can probably squeak out at least 6 again this year.
