He’s definitely been getting better over time. I did need to listen to the game last week, and my biggest complaint from that is there are times where him and Eric Wood aren’t descriptive at all about what’s actually happening during the play, you still get their reaction, and then the recap it after. Wish they’d be more descriptive during the actual play.

Agree with you. Coaches always talk up their next opponent as much as they can. During the drought years, Belichick would make our team sound like it was loaded with HOFers. He probably had a good chuckle (or at least smirk) after those press conferences.

The money is the least of the risks, there’s only so much we can throw his way the rest of this season anyway due to the cap. And I think the risk of a headache this season is low, because he has to approve whichever team he signs off with. The biggest gamble is the draft capital we would have potentially give up, in lieu of the one-year rental to try and make a Super Bowl run. I do like some of the ideas of making the pick conditional (ie 2nd round if we win the Super Bowl, 3rd otherwise - something like that).

That’s another thing I’m concerned about tonight. Afraid we’re going to be playing against the refs tonight too, although supposedly this crew calls PI about as much as any, so maybe that actually helps us.

I am a sucker for betting the Bills, even when my gut says no 😆. It stings so much when they lose, winning a bet against them does nothing for me. As for the Bengals, their OL looks like crap. Burrow is going to get killed this season if they don’t clean that up.

Funny how quickly things can change in the NFL, from Josh being MVP favorite to questioning whether we can beat the Jets. I’d like to think Josh and the team will raise their games tonight, but definitely feeling less confident about this one than even the Ravens and Texans games. Hopefully the team proves my gut completely wrong tonight.
