  1. The last time I went into a game feeling like we were so badly outmatched was the Ravens game a couple years ago and we ended up looking surprisingly good and almost pulled off the upset. Lets home this happens again (although this time we win).
  2. Maybe he should be looking in the mirror next time he says something like that. We were called for roughing the passer when hitting him in the knee in the third quarter. Interesting thing is Fitz took the exact same hit to the knee in the second quarter and nothing was called. Seems the Brady rule only still only applies to Brady.
  3. It's not you, Chan, it's them. They're cursed. Come be my offensive coordinator and we will shine.
  4. I'm not sure how RWS being in a neighborhood is suppose to be an insult. That's one of my favorite things about the stadium.
  5. First time the Patriots have had a losing record since starting 0-1 in 2003. We all pleasantly remember who gave them that loss don't we?
  6. I wonder how many people wanted to outlaw taking a knee when we ran the clock down to 3 seconds so we could just kick a field goal and beat the Patriots last year.
  7. After painfully watching this play so many times over the past 12 years the only conclusion that I can come to is I don't think there is any way anyone can say that this was definitely a forward or backward pass.
  8. I was a senior in high school working at Wendy's
  9. If we play the rest of the season like we did today we might not need to trade the entire draft yo get him.
  10. Hoping Devon Walker can manage the same recovery process.
  11. Patriots minus Brady = 11-5 Colts minus Manning = 2-14 Nuff said
  12. Even more than Luck, RG III, and Tannehill, I want to see what Matt Flynn does (sounds like he is currently the frontrunner to start in Seattle). It may have only been one game and he may have been surrounded by talent but his throws were spot on in that game.
  13. Yeap, I come here almost daily. Even in May and June when there is typically next to no football news Much appreciated.
  14. My prediction, half of this episode will be dedicated to the win over NE.
  15. Made a lot of improvements and people seem to realize it but they haven't taken the field yet. How much confidence will fantasy owners have in us?
  16. We're the only two quarterbacks that can beat the Patriots.
  17. 94, our last superbowl appearance, git er done Mario

  19. If I'm not too late, you can send it to me and I'll read it.
  20. It's rare that the person who wins Survivor was truly the best player. But I can safely say Kim really was the best player in the entire game this season. Congrats to her and well deserved.
  21. While there are others that were more heartbreaking, one that doesn't get talked about much is week 1, 2006, 19-17 loss at NE. We had a 10 point lead with the ball inside their 10 yard line. On 4th and 1 we went for it but didn't get it. Pats comeback to tie then win on a freaking safety. Given how close we came to the playoffs that year, that game could have made all the difference in the world and it was our last chance to go to the playoffs with Fletcher and Spikes. 2009 openning loss was probably more painful but we weren't going to the playoffs that year.
  22. I see your point but I actually liked some of the things he did last off-season like signing Barnett, drafting Dareus and Williams. Could he have done a little more to sure up the offense, like sign a more competent backup QB or another capable WR on the other side of Stevie, maybe. As for this season, I like that we drafted Glenn and I believe he'll be a difference maker on the o-line.
  23. Nix has done everything he POSSIBLY can to fill holes. We couldn't expect him to fill them all. Now it's Gailey's turn to do his job as head coach and turn that talent into a winning team. At this point, if we still can't win games, it's on Gailey, not Nix.
  24. In the VY thread I kept seeing that there would be no harm in bringing in Young. If that's true then there would certainly be no harm in Gaffney.
  25. I'm from MD, only ever been to one game at the Ralph and that was in 2010 (might have gone again last year if I hadn't lost my job last summer). But I also stayed loyal as a kid through all 4 SB losses, the playoff loss to Tennessee, the 12 years of missing the playoffs, and even the good: the big comeback against the Oilers. I didn't even waiver when the Ravens moved here from Cleveland. Lastly, I'm a strong advocate for keeping the team in Buffalo. Hope that's good enough to keep my fan card despite not being a WNY native. As a little bonus, while I'm not a passionate hockey fan, I tend to pull for the Sabres.
