Yeah they really seem like they are 1 impact player away from being a SB champion right now.............they were very good in 2020..........but regardless of the final result they were a BETTER team in 2021.........they just got out-manned by KC's playmakers late in that divisional game. It's time to make that move to get 1 more game changer. There is always an excuse to not go for it..........it's the easy fall back for any front office.........."they don't want to mortgage the future" becomes "well, they aren't 1 player away" pretty quick.

Not sure what's worse.........the A's stripping their team down to begin with.............or the lousy returns they are getting doing it. The Olson trade was brutal. Pache? Yikes. Is Kevyn Adams doing double duty over in Oakland?

Yeah it's not "wild to think"..........but it's also not "likely" that bpa at those exact spots will be those positions in those rounds. The draft isn't like a set of stairs where one selection is just one step down in quality from the prior.........the difference in impact between selecting a Cody Ford versus a DK Metcalf/AJ Brown can be VAST........even if they are both at the top of their individual positions on your board at the time.

Hopefully the majority of those "guaranteed" dollars are actually contingent on being on the roster at the beginning of the league year in 2023..........basically an opt out if he doesn't dominate(which he likely won't).

Too many 3rd rounders.........that hurts round 4 value significantly.

I like the positive talk about Buffalo as a FA destination but if it just helps add a near-finished Rodger Saffold at a bargain rate............that's not much. The other UFA's they've signed weren't ring chasing deals by any means so the evidence that it's a destination isn't there yet.

That is right where I thought he'd be..........never bought the $8M aav talk........he's not that kind of athlete. I was hoping for Sidney Jones......a better athlete with more risk but more upside............ but he signed back with Seattle for 1 year $3.6M. Going back to Levi would have been the safe choice.........I think if it had been 1 year $4M they might have...........but they probably like Dane Jacksons' potential more and if Tre comes back their top 3 CB positions are manned. Then in the likely event that another higher RAS type CB lands with them in the draft then it's not inconceivable that Levi could have been a spare part. I expect they will still add a veteran but probably just a 1 year deal. CB and S are the two positions I trust them to develop.

He had over 700 touches in two years and then started getting hurt...........he had over 700 more in college..............and he's built like a slot receiver whose game is built on speed not a 220-230# RB. Maybe he's not washed up or broken down but injuries and declining production tend to happen and stay that way after huge seasonal workloads like 2019 McCaffrey.

Yeah and as valued as first round picks are...........I have a hard time envisioning Beane paying that price given his injuries...........the neck one was considered career threatening. Feels like more of a Chiefs move.........moves they get away with because they have had 4 individually dominant, game changing players in Mahomes, Kelce, Hill and Jones to carry them. The Bills have Allen and Diggs (sorry Tre, close but no). The Bills need another game changer or two but they might not have the same cushion of playmakers on hand to risk giving away a #1 for the level of uncertainty. Yeah that had some shock value.

Well Gregory has been suspended for drug issues like 5 times or something............he is talented but he is a very high risk player...........surprised Denver prioritized him that high, considering. Don't often see guys like that end up with good careers.

Yeah the depth might have hurt the development. Agree with that. But when Efe was out there he looked brutal when he had to stop and re-direct. The highlights of Tim Settle are a good example of a player showing really good stop and re-direct...........and he is a huge DT............as a DE the expectation for mobility is higher..........you really gotta' be good at that to excel in run D..........so even in limited opportunities we got to see just how bad Efe was at that. That was his rep coming in but I really didn't know why until I saw that bad COD.

That $18.5M roster bonus is the swing point.............I don't think Minnesota eats that and THEN trades him.........even for a first...........and Buffalo might have to sign him to a new contract altogether to handle the cap hit. I suspect Hunter will want to be the highest paid pass rusher in football based on his pre-injury years but I also thought Stefon Diggs would force the Bills to re-do his deal like Shady did. Depends on the player, I guess. Also not a fan of Hunter not playing much RDE..........that's the tougher position to succeed from, IMO and that is a strong point with Chandler Jones..........he has proven he can beat LT's.

He still might be in the Mc's for Buffalo too.

Yeah I'd like to see the contract details........it's a bit more than I thought they would spend, I was thinking $2.5M for that position with him or James White and less if they settled for McKinnon due to his injury history. $4M is an outright lead RB nowadays.

No he's not fast so there probably aren't going to be any 30-40 yard plays............ but there is no wasted motion with him when he gets the ball so he plays a lot faster in the 10-15 yard area near the LOS.

Yeah I really like McKissic. He does everything quick. Picks up yardage quick running and catches the ball and transitions into a runner very quick.........that's how you end up with nice averages per play. He's not explosive so not going to be a bunch of big plays or anything............but he really fits the style of offense that they were playing late last season where they were always in 3rd and 4 or less because he picks up yardage consistently.
