  1. Cancelled Sunday ticket. They were only going to discount $10, and it is not worth it to watch this.
  2. I would start him when: 1) he has a firm grasp of the system 2) he can diagnose the defenses 3) we have a capable offensive line #3 is really important because rookies can be ruined by bad O lines. I also think, despite the bravado, their confidence is shaky. So you don't want to throw them in too quickly, make mistake after mistake, then regress.
  3. He was best in a time based system. He's allowed to improvise as much as he wants as long as he gets to his spot at the desired time.
  4. This. It wasn't always this way. In recent years, the military paid for these "support the troops" gestures (which the NFL may have given back some or all of the money). I think the anthem is totally overused which diminishes its impact. When was the last time you heard the anthem amd git chills?
  5. I hate to say it, but the Parirots will probably repeat. I think for us, Hughes will return to form.
  6. Just go 0-16 to get a QB and use the extra picks to rebuild. We could use a couple OTs, WRs, etc.
  7. The offense is garbage. No receivers, no OTs, passes before the sticks. Shame.
  8. Limited options here. Dunno if i like it or dislike it. Certainly shocked by it. Is it a moneyball play? Idk.
  9. Ok... I'm shocked. All eyes on the future I guess. I'm not sure I get why they kept TT then. Why sign Anquan to a 1yr deal? Just tank. All of this talk about not surrendering the season is just that, talk. The team is much less likely to make any sort of push this year. If your plan is to really start it next year, then get the first pick in each round. I wonder how Kyle Williams feels about coming back now. They're going nowhere this year.
  10. Yeah I'm surpised we'll never get to see a Kujo/Glenn OL. These kids need to get it together.
  11. Two of our GM candidates on the staff, nice job. Filling in the positions from the top down. Keep it up!
  12. Maybe but Gettleman probably isn't letting anybody else go. http://www.newsobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article149714399.html
  13. I'm optimistic about the franchise. I think all of the moves they have made were sensible. That said I foresee growing pains. We won't be in the playoffs next year, but I don't believe McD is the tank it all type of guy. Will people be able to wait 3 or more years? Given the posts on here, I doubt it.
  14. Bill Polian has had nothing but nice things to say about McD and Beane. That could just be the nature of the business, but he is on the committees that recommend these folks.
  15. Congrats! Now don't !@#$ it up! Are we pregnant yet? Show me the baby!
  16. I'll just say that I doubt they're interviewing anyone without McD's OK. All of the news points to him calling the shots.
  17. He ranks 10th in the league https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro-bills-should-build-around-tyrod-taylor-not-show-him-the-door/
  18. Yeah I noticed that too. I wouldn't have chosen it for live TV.
  19. We don't know whether any mischief occurred during the draft. I doubt it because those things have a way of leaking out. McD was not supposed to wipe his memory before leaving the Panthers. Any knowledge he gained while he was there is his. If he took any materials (draft notes, video, etc.) with him, however, I'm sure that violated his contract. Stepping back from the draft for a week, I think McD was just going hard to get his guys. He wants high character, experienced guys with talent. OK fine. The draft has players with some from each category, but our board probably looked very different from other teams. Before the draft some people on this board said our biggest holes were CB, WR, RT, LB, and S. Well, it looks like McD agreed. He moved up and down the board to get players he wanted to fill those spots. It seems like he plugged the first 3 holes with day 1 starters. I'm unsure at this point about the late round LBs. [s may be set with Hyde (ok) and Poyer (ew) or get some veterans thrown at it like Tre Boston.] You may not agree with who he selected or how he did it, but you can't deny that he went out to plug those biggest holes. If I were to guess by his actions, I'd say McD feels this team isn't that far from competing for a playoff spot. The rebuild might not last that long. At least, I hope it doesn't.
  20. What you really ought to consider is what if the Bills ended the 90s era by starting the Brady era. Instead of kids almost old enough to vote never having witnessed the bills in the postseason, we could have had 30 years of dominance. Wade Phillips would be BB.
  21. PFF's list. Just type in UFA https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro-2017-free-agency-tracker/
