  1. I posted this in another thread, but I thought it deserved it's own. Brees has been unbelievable. NO would be nothing without him. Philip Rivers is good, but SD has to be kicking themselves. He deserves to get into the HOF on his first shot.
  2. A good WR or safety should be available. OBJ was at 12.
  3. Simply amazing. I still remember people saying he was washed up after leaving San Diego.
  4. AZ is up 6-0 and about to get the ball back.
  5. With Carolina losing, the Bills can draft 10th if Arizona wins. They're currently leading LA 6-0.
  6. Wow Carolina stinks... they deserve to draft before us.
  7. Philly is winning; Carolina is tied; and Arizona plays later. We may be drafting 9th. Nevermind TB scored.
  8. Let's see if the rookie learned anything this year. EJ certainly hasn't.
  9. I think he was better last year, so you can say he regressed. I also think he has been more cautious this year. A lot of that may be not trusting the receivers. Watkins was out; Woods was hurt a lot; and Goodwin is awful. If we get better there, and get him another QB coach to work with, I think he could be good. He may not be the franchise QB, but he could lead us to the playoffs.
  10. Yes. That's exactly what Seattle did after bringing Flynn in. Keep drafting/searching until you find one. Until you have an upgrade though, stick with what's working.
  11. As shown in the other thread, Seattle remained at the top while Bradley was gone, and the Jaguars never improved. Was he the reason Seattle was good? Doesn't look like it. Why wasn't he able to fit the defense to the Jaguars' strengths?
  12. Our roster isn't terrible. Whaley was director of pro personnel. He picks up decent free agents to fill in holes. Hughes, TT, Zack Brown, Lorax, Shady, and Incognito have helped make this team what it is. He's not good at predicting late round talent in the draft though IMHO. How good/bad were our drafts? 2016 Shaq injury looked bad. Did we know about it or not? It made the team look incompetent. Ragland TBD. Adolphus Washington looks pretty decent for a third rounder. Hopefully he can fill KW's shoes someday. Seymour looks OK for a 6th rounder. 2015 1st no pick. Man I'd love to have this pick and OBJ. 2nd Darby has been pretty good, and was excellent under Donnie Henderson. 3rd John Miller has been a key piece of our run game. 5th Karlos Williams was a beast until his off the field issues. He wasted a golden opportunity. 2014 Many picks for Watkins who can be dominant when healthy, but foot problems don't just go away (speaking from experience). Cujo looks like our LT of the future. With Glenn at RT we could have the best OL in football. Preston Brown is our starting MLB. He has some coverage ability, but is a weak tackler IMHO. I think every scout should submit their selection with the team's (in the moment). After several years the players and scouting staff can be evaluated. Find out wo knows what they're doing and who doesn't. Then we can get rid of the dead weight and let the cream rise to the top. Right now we have no idea how accountable the scouting staff is. Are they just note takers? Do they make recommendations? Who is most responsible for setting the draft board? Is the pick a consensus? Are trades by consensus? Is Whaley doing whatever he likes? Which drafts are actually his? I have no answers. The reporters have no idea. Too often it seems there's report multiplicity. One person tweeted it, then ten articles are written about it. I believe Whaley has put together a playoff roster. IMHO He should get to pick his coach and be judged by the results.
  13. There's a whole thread about why he shouldn't be DC. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/191122-the-case-against-gus-bradley-for-dc/?fromsearch=1 Hire Schwartz and give Lynn $$$ to stick around. If JS lost interest, promote Lynn and get Wade for $$$.
  14. We have the 6th highest scoring offense in the league with TT. Unless you can pry Philip Rivers from SD (doubtful), IMHO we should stick with him. Lynn has indicated he hasn't been asked to do a lot of things by Roman. I'd like to see what an off-season under Lynn produces. Concentrate on fixing the defense and special teams aND we'll be a 12 win team.
  15. Jeff Fisher is terrible. No way I'd want him near the team. He's a ST coach and not a good one either.
  16. I found this interesting: http://buffalonews.com/2016/12/28/bucky-gleason-conflicted-taylors-future-bills-join-club/ I wouldn't mind if Tyrod comes back. When Marrone left I wanted Darrell Bevel hoping he'd leave the Defense in place. Now I hope someone will leave the Offense in place and fix the Defense. Don't fix what isn't broken.
  17. You are correct. The site I first linked to had total points. In the last site I linked to the Bills O averages 3.0 TDs per game just as you said. This ties them for 6th in the league.
