  1. hmm there is this nugget http://www.panthers.com/news/article-2/Thoughts-on-Tre-Bostons-departure-and-whats-next/d7b025b0-162a-43d2-9ce5-902aa7110df6
  2. Don't know much about him except that he grades out better than Poyer per PFF. He should fit our system given who his DC was. 3. Here's a pretty good loat of candidates. I don't think DeCosta is a real option just like Wolf. http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2017/04/candidates_to_replace_doug_whaley_as_buffalo_bills_general_manager_gm_beane.html
  4. If we can get 1st or 2nd before he exits, great! However, it will be tough to get with his injury history. Plus, his numbers are paltry compared to others in his draft class (again due to injury). It could be one of those rare mid-season trades with a potential playoff team though. Or, maybe there's a sucker out there.
  5. TM "Can you believe we get paid to do this now?" DW "I know right! We're the luckiest SOBs in Buffalo!"
  6. Well he went to college right down the road at Wichita State so I'm sold. In all seriousness though, he seems to have a pretty good scouting record. Make him head of college scouting. https://www.google.com/amp/s/larrybrownsports.com/football/scot-mccloughan-candidate-replace-doug-whaley/366380/amp
  7. If McD has all the power, so be it as long it gets us to where we want to be. He's going to need a lot of help though, and I hope he has the bandwidth to build an organization, build a team, and coach a team. I don't see any time to be a coordinator in there.
  8. They can't block it if he has control over the roster. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/05/01/bills-ask-for-permission-to-interview-brandon-beane/
  9. T Pegs needs to stop doing pressers. He makes everything seem worse. They need a PR guru. They put the statement out, that should have been the end of it. "We like DW. He put the board together. They did a great job." So why did you fire him? "I'll keep that between Kim and I. It's in the past." Then why call a press conference? Either own up to why you did it, or don't waste everyone's time and make the organization look worse. They need a 24/7 PR person to keep them from stepping in piles of their own bull ****. Full disclosure: the oresser sucked, but I agree with the DW firing and the college scouts. I thought the pro department rocked and deserved to stay on. I think Overdorf needs to go. Our cap situation is in rough shape for this roster.
  10. I'm not a fan of letting the pro scouts go. You don't remove a working organ to fix a broken one. I hope they know what they're doing now.
  11. Certainly does seem like it. Week 17 was messy. Coach fired. TT benched. It was apparent EJ sucked. Then Cardale wasn't much better. DW shouldn't have tied himself to the mast of that sinking ship.
  12. Agreed. Is it clear yet whether the pro dept is axed or stays?
  13. https://mobile.twitter.com/JoeBanner13 name to watch in Buffalo is Brett Veach. Worked with Sean in Philly & is highly respected by Andy Reid & all the Philly people. In KC now
  14. I don't think Hogan was a bad fit. There was also Incognito, zack Brown, McCoy for Alonso. There's been a decent track record on the pro personnel side. The drafts have been lacking IMO.
  15. I do think our pro personnel dept has been good. Hughes for Shepard? What a trade! Lorax was a solid pickup. Hogan, Gillislee,..
  16. It did seem like the first personnel decision of the new rigime started a turf war. McD won the battle and the war.
  17. Shocked! Absolutely shocked! Not really, it was the worst kept secret in football.
  18. PFF https://www.profootballfocus.com/draft-best-remaining-draft-prospects-for-day-3/
  19. Not melting down, but there would have been WRs there at 44. No need to trade up. Don't hate the player though.
  20. I'm ok getting some bodies later. We were top 10 O without much talent there and 19th D. We'll be run focused so no need to spend our top picks on WR this year. Btw love your handle
  21. Melifonwu or Cunningham. Continue to rebuild the defense.
  22. I like the pick. It was a huge hole. I think McD has taken over a lot of power and is putting his stamp on things. White is a high character guy, 4 yr starter, and a leader. PFF had him as the 2nd corner and we got him at 27 + a 3rd + a 2018 1st. Thumbs up to the new order!
