Durable?

The smoking man on X Files is at it again. Just when the Bills are turning the corner ... the season will be cancelled and all momentum will be lost. In the meantime I watch the highlights from the Bills/Dallas Thanksgiving game in my Facebook feed.

I've been to several football stadiums around the country and Dallas is the tamest. Decent, respectable fan base. The two times I have been to AT&T stadium, I don't think I saw any fights inside or outside the stadium. Unlike Buffalo ... ?

I planned on going when I knew Bills were coming ... but when they announced Thanksgiving I knew I couldn't do it. Need to be with family plus I'm cooking the Turkey.

You may be technically correct, but I always thought and recognized AWOL as the proper term ... that is, if you want the reader to understand the gist of the post. Therefore, AWOL would be a better choice. Furthermore, the Sci-fi series that started in the late 60's is called Star Track ... not Star Trek.

Listening to Sirius NFL this afternoon with Pat Kirwin. One interesting stat about Broncos this year ... they are # 1 in 4th down conversions with a 75% success rate. They were discussing going for it on 4th down and generally speaking there is an increase in the number of instances of teams going for it on 4th. Teams are being more aggressive in this area. Buffalo is ranked 25 in this dept, with a 33% success rate. Interestingly ... Dallas and Steelers (future opponents) were ranked 29 and 30 respectively. Watch out for those 4th downs this Sunday ...

Baltimore showed how to beat the Patriots. Unfortunately there is only one Lamar Jackson. Ball control, effective running, keeping Brady and Edelman on the sideline.

I love Vikings offense ... aggressive, hungry and they executed and played hard in Dallas. I love their running back. I'm not a huge fan of Singletary ... I hope he proves me wrong ... I just prefer a bigger RB a downhill bruiser who forces defenders back and fights hard for every single yard. Singletary seems like a newer, fresher McCoy ... a finesse running back. I prefer Gore over Singletary. Gore should have been the feature RB in the Browns game. this.
