If we can’t trust him to be at his best when the team needs it most, then he deserves criticism. It’s okay to love all of the great things he does AND to point out when he comes up short. It doesn’t have to be one or the other. He needs to be more reliable in the post season. Period.

I actually consider myself pretty stingy on my personal HOF votes. One of my main rules is “if I have to think about it for more than a couple seconds, they likely don’t belong. I think both of them belong. I think the reason Wagner took so long is the same reason pitchers like deGrom (statistically superior, but not a lot of wins because their team sucked) never used to win the Cy Young … it took a while for voters to smarten up. For closers, it’s similar to DHs. They don’t play dull games, so they didn’t get votes. We’re seeing a shift, which is long overdue. I think closers deserve consideration more than designated hitters.

I think what Franco did as a lefty should have gotten him in.

I feel like Kincaid takes mean shots directly to the head on more than half of his receptions. Im not sure when the last one was, but perhaps he’s still shaking off some fog. He’s still an awesome target with a very bright future. I think he needs to learn how to protect his noggin better, though.

I think they are both deserving and definitely thing Franco is more deserving. Doesn’t even require thought, IMO.

Don’t worry about stopping them. Just score more than them.

You (and many others) have also not been rooting for this team for 30-60 years. Not a knock. But it definitely makes a difference.

Three was enough for a +3 turnover differential to go down to the wire. I certainly don’t expect the Chiefs to be sloppy. I will only speak for myself and will tell you that it’s possible to be happy with McDermott, yet still criticize him. His coaching has been excellent this season. But … like with any coach … he hasn’t been perfect. Pointing out mistakes or areas of concern doesn’t mean someone is a “hater.” It only means they’re not a “homer.”

The third quarter was crap. We need four quarters of great football.
