  1. Did I miss something on the first down that Chan challenged and lost? Didn't the initial measurement show the ball a few (maybe a couple) inches short? Only one of many missed calls.
  2. Let you in on a secret...Life isn't fair!!
  3. Special teams playing pretty well. Offense and defense appear to be the two biggest weaknesses
  4. the light at the end of the tunnel is unfortunately a freight train coming at us
  5. After a career year in 2011 he hasn't done much (or anything) in 2012 http://www.nfl.com/player/aaronmaybin/80433/profile
  6. The long range forecast for yesterday's game was pretty bad as well...can't put much stock into anything more than a two day forecast
  7. Fumble, no doubt about it
  8. What he said except I'm 55...then again as much as I drink I'm not sure it's enouh to be a Bills fan
  9. Sweet forecast! Thought we were in good shape when the 7 day predicted rain, those long range forecasts are never right!
  10. re - "Jay Cutler – Traded for two 1st and a 3rd, instead we have/had Aaron Maybin, Spiller, and used the 3rd to trade up for Levitre" Haven't checked the world wide web yet but if memory serves (and it usually does), we passed on Cutler and drafted Whitner (thank you Marv) - received nothing here. We got Spiller and Maybin from poor records the previous season, no trade involved. The third we used to trade up for Levitre was from the first and third we got for Peters (the first was used on Wood) My bad, checked the WWW, the OP meant these are the picks we used 2 firsts and a third on instead of using them to trade to Denver for Cutler. Tried deleting but it didn't work, so editing instead.
  11. thought they were all good
  12. I work for a company that invented the mouse but thought it was useless and sold the patent to Steve Jobs. Not to mention in the same city someone "invented" digital photography and was told it was a nice idea, don't tell anyone about it, we'll make more money on film. That company has since filed for bankruptcy.
  13. Bryce Paup was never the same after his...
  14. UDFA Delano Howell made the team which means the coaches think he had more upside than Asper and Carder. Good for the scouting dept, but it was bad for someone, likely Asper or Carder. Looks like the coaches also think in the "win now" era it is more important to be able to get a touch back with every kickoff than to develop a player for a couple years, get one above average to good season, then lose him via free agency (e.g Bell).
  15. Made it to 4 straight super bowls in spite of Marv, not because of him.
  16. Out-coached
  17. I was expecting to see Pinto Ken but this guy is deservs to win
  18. Wow, that guy really doesn't like Schopp
  19. Great video. I'm switching 2 and 3, Kemp did get us 2 AFL championships as well as to the AFL championship game the year of super bowl 1. Agree with Flutie at number 4. Reich comes in at number 5 - He always played well in relief of Kelly, and followed "the comeback" by defeating the top seeded Steelers in Pittsburgh a week later. I have Lamonica goes at 6 but would be 2 or 3 had he stayed a Bill. As you say, had a pretty good Raider career. My list has Bledsoe at number 7. Who's left? Shaw, Mathison, Dufek, Ferragomo, Mangini, Holcomb, Collins, Van Pelt , Johnson, the idiot that didn't study the playbook before the game because he didn't think he'd play - Pick any 3 to get Edwards and Losman off the list. Like you say, does it really matter?
  20. Pretty much any song from the first half of the seventies
  21. Thanks for the report but more importantly for your 21 years of service.

  23. Named them all Travis. That way when its time for dinner all he has to do is yell "hey Travis, come home, Time for dinner." When he only wants one them he calls them by their Mother's last name. My weak attempt at humor tonight.
  24. Knew someone would pick this...don't care what others think, still one of my all time favorites.
  25. This advice has twice gotten me out of tickets when I was clearly in the wrong. Ran a red light after playing volley ball in a bad section of town. Rolled down the window, put my hands and arms outside it. After a bunch of yes sir and no sirs, cop let me go wihout a ticket and told me I should probably find a different place to play volley ball. Took his advice. Pretty much the same scenario when a cop pulled me over for doing 75 in a 55. Last thing he said was slow down, 75 is too damn fast. took his advice also, now keep within 5 mph of the speed limit.
