  1. Is that how you turn the sarcasm on this board off? I thought there was a clapper.
  2. Use Whitner in your everyday speech. When you overpay for something you won't get any significant use out of, it's called "drafting a Whitner." i.e. My friend chose to buy HDDVDs instead of Blue ray discs, he sure did draft a Whitner.
  3. Blitz Brady? Too risky. If you hit him, you'll get a penalty. Regardless, they'll invent another rule to ensure Brady's success. The next one being if Brady throws an incomplete pass, he gets a do-over.
  4. Are we going to start covering half the stadium with tarp like Jacksonville just to say we sold out?
  5. Fitz can be a good fill in the gap quarterback but we need a project for the future
  6. I would rather take a chance on an early round quarterback being a Ryan or Flacco, only we pick in the top 5. If not, I say get the best pass rushing DL, and take a well rounded QB later on
  7. Delhomme is a liability. Any time that he doesn't hand off, there is a 55% chance of an interception. They probably won't have to throw though.
  8. We have a hard enough time signing people in the first place, I doubt a non compete clause would help any in that department
  9. Building through the draft means that no team wants to trade with us and no free agents will sign with us. We're the smelly kid in class
  10. Games are won with OL and DL. As long as we lose the battle of the trenches, expect 3 win seasons
  11. While we're at it, let's see if Ted Washington wants to sign on too
  12. I agree. McKelvin needs to work on his (fudamentals)
  13. If we keep Maybin, we'll keep McKelvin
  14. Fitz is the temporary solution. He's what Trent Edwards haters wanted: someone who will throw the freakin ball. Who it goes to is another matter. We need a QB in the draft but we need a pass rush/run stopper first
  15. The coaches made the depth chart and obviously thought he could start. Why not give him some starts and experience and maybe work through the mistakes and become a better DB/KR? And if you don't like him, maybe he'll get hurt. Win win. That being said, if we can snag anyone better in the offseason, I'm all for it.
  16. I was sure I just saw Heath Miller get paralyzed on Sunday Night Football. Should there have been a penalty?
  17. This game is a gift to the city of Minnesota from Buffalo.
  18. Since he played at Harvard, how about the Harvard Yardbird?
