  1. ESPN has been like that for a long time now. That and the 3 second sportcenter game highlights inserted about 45 minutes into the show after they've recapped the major market teams twice.
  2. That's like saying that since you don't have much money, but Brittany Spears does, she should manage your portfolio
  3. Yeah, the worst that will happen is that we get Luck in the draft next year! We can't lose!
  4. I have a sad feeling that nobody wants to come to Buffalo
  5. I'm not sold on Colon simply because Pittsburgh is trying to resign him. Rumor is PItt is thinking of resigning Plaxico, does that mean we should go after him?
  6. Somebody took a chance on "I'm worth millions" Ko Simpson so I know that another team will bite on Whitner. I just want that sap of a team to totally overpay for him.
  7. Why would you let him retire when you could get something for him? This story doesn't sound like its ongoing. It sounds like a done deal. And next year instead of Brett Favre coming back we'll be talking about Palmer.
  8. Poz has all of the raw physical tools but zero linebacker intuition
  9. And not even at the right people. You should hate the evil Verizon empire that seems to have at least helped purchase said jerseys.
  10. I have little optimism for any deal to be worked out at this point. The players were banking on winning court cases and are shocked that the billionare owners can afford better ones. Now all the owners have to do is wait for the approach of the season and the players anxious of losing out on game checks will start to and eventually give in. Carson Palmer will be laughing in retirement.
  11. If you smile every time Brady cries in public about where he went in the draft, If you think that Barry Bonds and Mark Mcgwire "Bellicheated," If you feel Steve Tasker is a biased commentator for whatever team Buffalo is playing, If you wished your team's owner would pass on to his reward, but know for sure that you'd still shed a tear at the news of it You might be a Bills fan
  12. Heard an interview with Stevie Johnson last week on Jim Rome radio show and he said that Fitz was the leader of the team and a good man. That's all I need to hear. Hopefully we'll see him in action sometime this year
  13. What is sad is that watching two people argue about when the trash can was invented is the most exciting thing about this offseason. A new stadium would lift the Cryptkeeper curse. The problem being that the team would have to be pried from Ralph's cold dead clutches.
  14. The owners hold all of the cards. Did the players forget that the owners have millions of dollars of their own? And that owning a football team just sounded like a hoot and something to occupy their spare time? The owners don't count on game checks and they have the funds to field an army of lawyers to do battle while sunning in the south of France for the rest of their lives. The players should have taken the best offer they had and counted themselves lucky. Now we're anxiously awaiting the alternative minimum football league just to see some kind of pigskin this fall. Too bad baseball is the most boring its ever been.
  15. I thought that due to the fact there is no CBA, there can be no trades
  16. I would like to see the financial records of the owners. But its obvious that the players thought they'd get the peoples sympathy.
  17. I don't understand. Everything Tom Brady does is correct. His backside will never be dry because there is someone perpetually kissing it. So he MUST be doing the right thing.
  18. It's not just going to games, or tailgating. Football is an excuse to bring slightly dysfunctional families together on Sunday that might not otherwise have a reason to.
  19. If we bring Vince Young aboard, why not Charlie Sheen as quarterbacks coach? They're both not bipolar, they're "bi-winning."
  20. Why would we need another quarterback after our substandard front office drafts Cam Newton when even Carolina knows enough to pass on him? CJ Spiller anyone? Remember him? Thats who we drafted when we had a gaping wound in our offensive line.
  21. So they're in better shape physically. And the better physical shape you're in, the more easily injured you are?
  22. I'd like to take yet another opportunity to say thank god we don't have Mike Vick. It was so much more fulfilling to have a team full of players without a criminal record rather than a mvp candidate playoff quarterback who had more rushing yards than CJ Spiller and better completion percentage than Fitzpatrick. Our 4-12 record is a small price to pay to know that the puppies in Buffalo are safe.
  23. Shannon Sharpe, Marshall Falk, and Deon Sanders are all working on tv and are more visible. If I was Andre Reed, I'd get a tv job pronto to cement his chances next year.
