Why do you want Simmons then? 2024 was his first full season since 2021. I don't like PFF as metric on it's own, but he was pretty bad: 113th out of 171 safeties and 149th against the run. His tackle numbers (62) were his lowest since 2018 which include seasons where he missed games. His passes defensed went down despite playing a full slate of games. The Falcons defense regressed and ranked 24th in the league with him. So please explain to me why he'd be considered "Good" at this point of his career? He's similar to Poyer and Hyde in their final years with the Bills... which is to say utterly done physically.
