  1. Did they really need to 'confirm' this? Obviously they would trade him as they're likely cutting him.
  2. We're talking more about Namath than we are Brady and he's still playing.
  3. Yea, it's a little shortsighted that a 2nd back's only value is blocking. The point is to neutralize a guy which could be accomplished in more ways than just blocking. You send Moss out to the flat on one side and Singletary to the other and there could be a lot of confusion. So maybe they're average blockers at best, but they have likely neutralized at least 1 guy who's covering them and possibly caused hesitation in others.
  4. This seems to be veering off from, "Joe Namath doesn't have the stats to be in the hall" to some sort of personal vendetta against Namath for...saying something creepy to you when you were interviewing him?
  5. Exactly why signing this guy is not the panacea of pass rush dreams that so many believe it to be
  6. That is not the basis of it. That is what you *want* it to be. You're gonna have to get over the fact that it's not the Hall of Really Great Stats.
  7. I've always found this to be the smart thing to do even if the rookie outperforms the vet in camp. Let the vet get in there..take the early lumps then the rookie is going to have a lot less pressure when the season is over and fans just sat through the pain of the struggling vet for a few weeks.
  8. Mostly his interviews and comments. He's been much more...brash..this offseason imo. It's similar to many other BB disciples and I don't think it plays well or accomplishes what they think it does.
  9. I know Flores gets a lot of praise for his heroic run to 5-11, but I just don't see it. This offseason has confirmed for me that he's another BB disciple who doesn't understand why BB can do the things he does and get away with it. I don't think they beat the patriots and I think their record is 5-11 again or worse.
  10. Does he make it to Saturday?
  11. Damn, that's leveon bell money
  12. I am a big strong MAN! Please don't say things I don't like or understand. I can't handle it.
  13. Most of the Jets injuries are already on the field doing sideline work and/or individual drills or expected back soon. They have no more or less than the Bills do. This topic just seem ill-informed.
  14. guess he won't be back for the game against the Bills then..
  15. I think Beane did this just to mess with this board
  16. I like that Marrone gets to be Tank Commander so a new coach can have a high draft pick
  17. Hauschka hasn't hit at least 80 percent of his field goal attempts since 2017 History is great and all, but current results are more important.
  18. It is? He's had problems and they have been trying to trade since the season ended..
  19. Relying on rookie receivers, no matter how good is a risky proposition. The value of him tearing up camp is not that he's going to supplant those guys, but exactly what you said here...if one of them goes down, he can fill in for awhile.
  20. You've confused the problem. It's not that he said Josh had a bad day and he said that. It's that he's been hypercritical of Allen compared to his peers. This has eroded trust in his reports and as one of the principal Bills reporters...not being able to trust his reports on the starting QB is annoying. His reports tend to need confirmation because he has exaggerated in the past. As someone who's not sold on Allen being the long term franchise QB...I'd like to be able to know they're accurate especially when I can't see things for myself.
  21. They were taking a huge gamble with Hauschka. The question is how much bigger of a gamble Bass is...
  22. I never believed Beane would do more than kick the tires on this, but I'm glad it's over.
  23. You misunderstand. The ridiculous thing is having the cowboys that high. It's not simply putting everyone at 32 that makes it ridiculous. The point is to elicit a strong reaction and get those people prone to reading something and then drop everything and race to others to tell them about it.
  24. Seriously, how do people not understand that like 60% of sports writing is 'bait tactics' Write something ridiculous...get people to get upset then go link your article all over forums, social media, etc and drive up your traffic. Here's a crazy idea...if you think an article or writer is ridiculous, STOP. Don't share their stuff, don't talk about it. Their entire goal is to get you to talk about it so when you run here in huff, out of breath and sweating to post dumb sh*t....you're doing their job for them.
