I'm not sure the fans getting all hot and bothered about some UDFA because of pre-season matters.
I'm gonna go with the guys who make the evaluations and they say pre-season games help them so I'll go with some pre-season games should remain.
2 years and a hamstring injury ago..sure.
"Should be noted Brandin Cooks (dealing with that quad injury) avg'd just 1.69 yards of separation on his 5 tar. League average varies considerably depending on whether you play inside or outside and depth of target but you'd like to see that around 2.5 #NextGenStats #Texans" ~James Koh
If you couldn't see the crowd...would you know the difference? I have a feeling it will be tough to tell.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of writing about what the rules are around pumping in crowd noise beyond it's limited to 80db. Will it have to be lowered or silenced at any time? They're using recorded crowd noise from actual games so will it be a 'live audio' production where somebody is taking like 8 seconds of a defense chant and playing that or will it just be an ongoing recording where the highs and lows don't make sense? Gonna be intriguing.
I'm not sure he's right.
1. He said 'they' like NBC didn't do it...not sure he was really clued in on what the stadium was doing.
2. Teams did this with full crowds in the stadiums with no one really the wiser. They're pretty sophisticated and they are using crowd noise from previous games if the same stadiums for crowd noise.
I'd be more worried about the idiots than either of those things. Some bare-chested guy yelling with his sweat and spittle going everywhere with his mask down getting told to put his mask on and losing his sh*t
Collinsworth is in full madden mode.
"Running backs have devalued, but this rookie shows how valuable they are.." This rookie...just drafted..
"Brilliant defensive strategy here by Houston...it's just not working though."
The stadiums are pumping in noise. They're using crowd noise recorded from past games in each stadium. Not sure if they can do that if they actually have fans though.
Thank goodness.
I'm amazed by all the big strong men who have their panties in a twist over something that happens during a part of the game they don't watch while they're in the bathroom fixing their mascara after a good pre-game cry because their feelings just got the best of them.
I'm going with Bill O'Brien. He's been making power plays against people in the org for years. If Hopkins remains amazing in Arizona and the corpse he got in return doesn't light it up...I could see him finally getting the axe.
