I'm curious if you think someone offering to back up drumptrucks full of money to your house is a bad idea too? I think the NFL would be ok with football 5-6 days a week.

TV Ratings is a really poor term. For example, I would not be counted in TV ratings, but I watched the Superbowl. Then you have that ratings are a percentage, not a straight up number. So 10% of LA watching might be more people than 40% of Cincinnati. This is also based on roughly 21,000 households that are monitored out of something like 127 million people who have TVs in their home. Also, when you dig into how Nielsen accounts for viewership and then viewership outside of the home (February in Cincinnati and LA are two very different things), these ratings are basically massive guesses.

I'm not sure how only having one guard is going to work out for them because that is what he seems to believe is fair.

I think people underestimate how much the way of life becomes something you can't give up easily. I think a lot of players would be better off if they could let go and stop earlier.

It's not odd. Guys switch sides of the ball often. I'd say it would be requirement if I was in charge to have someone from the 'other side of the ball' working with the coaching staff in some capacity. McDermott has spoken before about he's in the offense's meeting and shares with them how he'd attack what they're trying to do..

They can get away with it, sure.. we're talking about trying to make the NFL a thing over there and that's not gonna happen with a couple scrub teams once a year. Sending a scrub game over there gets them what they have now. They sell out, it's a novelty. If that's the goal then sure they can 'get away with it', but their goal seems to be more than that.

I don't think Murray is going to be one of the guys in the top 10 of QBs year after year and I wouldn't want him as the leader of my team. However, Allen is a Unicorn.
