Kareem Hunt: Cut candidate. Possible 2022 Bill?
Malazan replied to filthymcnasty08's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not what I asked, but you forgot a couple.. Damien Williams Raheem Mostert Also, Shady didn't play in the Superbowl or even the playoffs for the Chiefs. Sony Michele got 2 carries in the Superbowl for 2 yards so if we're counting every back that got any carries in the Superbowl.. well, ok then. I guess we're counting Darrell Henderson Jr. and Samaje Perine too. So we have 'six' leading rushers out of the last 3 Superbowls. Rams / Bengals: Akers (52 - 2nd) / Mixon (48 - 2nd) Chiefs / Buccaneers: Edwards-Helaire (32 - 1st) / Fournette (4 - 1st) Chiefs / 49ers Damien Williams (Undrafted) / Mostert (undrafted) You actually had an argument without trying to 'stack the deck'. 4 of the six leading rushers in the last 3 Superbowls had leading rushers that were selected with high round draft picks. Of course, nothing is black and white. I'm not sure how much you count a leading rusher with 21 yards in the Superbowl and averaging with less than 50 yards a game throughout the playoffs as a good argument to spend a high pick on a RB or that the Bucs didn't spend any draft capital at all on Fournette (and literally, no one offered a 7th round pick for him). So we're currently 3/6 used less than a 3rd round of draft capital for the team in the Superbowl.. and we have a pretty good argument that only 2 of those produced at a level that would have been worthwhile and possibly not able to be replaced with a back from ~30 picks later. So if we say 50%, there may still be an argument for your case, but I'd say we'd have to look at other capital spent to really make a case that you're more likely to win a Superbowl with a 1st or 2nd round RB over a later round, FA or undrafted RB. Did those teams invest in other places? -
What is the BEST pick you would trade for Saquon Barkley?
Malazan replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's too expensive. He'd be somebody I'd basically be hoping was healthy come playoff time because he's not gonna make it a full season. Given his salary and the Bills cap situation, I'm not giving up much of an asset, if any. -
TMZ of the NFL strikes again. This guy is a real piece of work. He blends stories about the Dolphins pursuing Brady in 2020 with a mix of the rumors about him becoming a minority owner and that every team with a coaching vacancy likely inquired about Payton to spin this POS story out. pft should be a banned site on football forums. It's a bigger mockery of journalism than most sports media.

I'm not on the Murray sucks bandwagon and 'regression' is obviously silly, but I do think he's peaked and that peak is.. average. He plays a different style, but he's a Kirk Cousins level QB. Colt McCoy came and had 2 games that were statistically as good as pretty much all of the games Murray played. Colt McCoy: 79.6% 35/44 2 TD 0 Int 84.6% 22/26 1 TD 0 Int I'm not saying McCoy is as good as Murray, but that offense was competent without him. I don't think he's a perennial top 10 QB before I get to the leadership and motivation questions. When you do, it would scare the hell out of me that this is a actually Mahomes brother or spouse.. not a future Mahomes level QB.

Quick, what's the 'success' rate of each round? How many players of each round are on the Superbowl teams for the last 3 years? Since you made this statement, I'm sure you have it right at hand. -
Lamar should fire his agent.

Keim is in a tough spot. it was a bold move to dump Rosen and take Murray. It was the right move, but is he forced into signing Murray now even if he's not the guy to win you a Superbowl? Very interesting situation.

A very good explanation. Should have taken hooked on phonics more seriously.

They drafted two d lineman and 2 o lineman... one of the O lineman was the unquestioned starter... What is wrong with you? Please be detailed.

In hindsight, what’s your worst “hot take” on TSW ever?
Malazan replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
TSW is bastion of intelligent football talk. -
It's scott. He's not trying to be objective. Whatever has happened to him in life has made him need our attention so he acts out. Best to just ignore him.

Josh message to Diggs while on vacation "goctb"

Allen seems to have a knack for getting people to like him. I don't recall a player that gets spoken of by so many different guys in the friendly, positive manner that Allen does. -
well, with teh TBD brain trust on this issue. I expect it to be resolved in no time.

The only thing I remember is concern over the injuries.

This is the classic example of a fallacy. The belief that simply upping the snap count would improve the performance of the players on the same players is false. It could make them worse or put them in situations that they don't succeed. If the Bills trade for Aaron Donald then yea, he'll play 80% of the snaps.

JC Jackson not happy with Pats approach to him as a FA
Malazan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nothing story. Every free agent who isn't immediately signed to a top 5 contract is unhappy with how it's being handled. -
I think recent events have shown us what Diggs would do with a million dollars.. .. and if my math is correct then 22 x 2 is 44 Give that man his money!

It takes an outlandish view designed to get attention. Even if the person does feel that way about McDermott, they're not trying to have a conversation.. they want attention. Notice it emulates an earlier outlandish thread and the OP has disappeared.

Clear troll post. Don't take the bait.
