Trade two 1st round picks for Jamal Adams.. ..Seattle ain't the best at decisions..
-
Why did a team trade two first round picks for Jamal Adams..watch him suck and then give him a top contract at his position?
-
.and now rumors ta Seattle is looking to trade for Darnold.. Why, of all teams, would try to "get the gang back together" from the Jets?
-
He likely does. This is clearly meant to generate 'outrage' and get attention.
-
I'm not sure the 'evidence' is conclusive. He had a down year last season of.. 2021 stats: 14 games | 64.8 pct | 3,113 pass yds | 7.8 ypa | 25 pass TD | 6 INT | 183 rush yds | 2 rush TD | 6 fumbles ..while being injured. The Broncos have a much better line and running game as well. They were 6th is rushing compared to Seattle's 28th. There's about 20 other teams out there (including the Broncos) who wish their QBs had a 'down' year like that.

BTW, Brandon Perna is great and worth watching.

Packers and Rodgers agree to deal. 4 year 200 million

This is good for the Bills. Raises the price for other QBs (lamar) and likely keeps Adams from FA reducing the number of receivers when the 3 other teams in the AFC East need WRs badly and two of them have a lot of cap space. -
It's amazing how much people are confusing those two words.

watching the animated corpse of Big Ben hamstring their offense isn't the draw you'd think it would be..
-
Which is why it's great.. gets thad a bunch of attention because he knows people will put their brains on hold and tee off on the Pegulas.

Same place it was.. about 21-22 mill a year.

Simms thought Darnold was going to be great.

Cole Beasley given permission to seek trade

just not enough of them this season for the money.. and another year older and beat up doesn't bode well for improving on that front. -

Strange to waste a year with such a good team. -

Kareem Hunt: Cut candidate. Possible 2022 Bill?

Not what I asked, but you forgot a couple.. Damien Williams Raheem Mostert Also, Shady didn't play in the Superbowl or even the playoffs for the Chiefs. Sony Michele got 2 carries in the Superbowl for 2 yards so if we're counting every back that got any carries in the Superbowl.. well, ok then. I guess we're counting Darrell Henderson Jr. and Samaje Perine too. So we have 'six' leading rushers out of the last 3 Superbowls. Rams / Bengals: Akers (52 - 2nd) / Mixon (48 - 2nd) Chiefs / Buccaneers: Edwards-Helaire (32 - 1st) / Fournette (4 - 1st) Chiefs / 49ers Damien Williams (Undrafted) / Mostert (undrafted) You actually had an argument without trying to 'stack the deck'. 4 of the six leading rushers in the last 3 Superbowls had leading rushers that were selected with high round draft picks. Of course, nothing is black and white. I'm not sure how much you count a leading rusher with 21 yards in the Superbowl and averaging with less than 50 yards a game throughout the playoffs as a good argument to spend a high pick on a RB or that the Bucs didn't spend any draft capital at all on Fournette (and literally, no one offered a 7th round pick for him). So we're currently 3/6 used less than a 3rd round of draft capital for the team in the Superbowl.. and we have a pretty good argument that only 2 of those produced at a level that would have been worthwhile and possibly not able to be replaced with a back from ~30 picks later. So if we say 50%, there may still be an argument for your case, but I'd say we'd have to look at other capital spent to really make a case that you're more likely to win a Superbowl with a 1st or 2nd round RB over a later round, FA or undrafted RB. Did those teams invest in other places? -
What is the BEST pick you would trade for Saquon Barkley?
Malazan replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's too expensive. He'd be somebody I'd basically be hoping was healthy come playoff time because he's not gonna make it a full season. Given his salary and the Bills cap situation, I'm not giving up much of an asset, if any. -
TMZ of the NFL strikes again. This guy is a real piece of work. He blends stories about the Dolphins pursuing Brady in 2020 with a mix of the rumors about him becoming a minority owner and that every team with a coaching vacancy likely inquired about Payton to spin this POS story out. pft should be a banned site on football forums. It's a bigger mockery of journalism than most sports media.

I'm not on the Murray sucks bandwagon and 'regression' is obviously silly, but I do think he's peaked and that peak is.. average. He plays a different style, but he's a Kirk Cousins level QB. Colt McCoy came and had 2 games that were statistically as good as pretty much all of the games Murray played. Colt McCoy: 79.6% 35/44 2 TD 0 Int 84.6% 22/26 1 TD 0 Int I'm not saying McCoy is as good as Murray, but that offense was competent without him. I don't think he's a perennial top 10 QB before I get to the leadership and motivation questions. When you do, it would scare the hell out of me that this is a actually Mahomes brother or spouse.. not a future Mahomes level QB.
