There has been a lot of talk that a bunch of teams want to trade down. More than usual.

Personally, I think it's Mayfield, but they didn't want to give up this year's picks. The HC is certainly getting a warm seat and the GM might be there too. They need a good season so giving up next year's pick to keep your job is more palatable. ..or the complete opposite and they have a reprieve and preparing for a QB next offseason. I think that's much less likely though.

The value of QBs, Edge and CB on a rookie contract is so much higher than almost anywhere else.

He will fit in with the Jets secondary nicely

I don't think that makes a lot of sense for Houston. They need weapons for whatever QB they end up taking next offseason.

Highlight of the Jets season while they still think they won't finish last in the division again.

We can fight about him after the pick. We're still fighting about Edmunds five years later.

I doubt that was ever the plan. I think they always viewed him as the tank commander next year.

I'm liking this offseason. Reminds of the '20 offseason where we saw a lot of press about Bills players working together. I feel like that was missing amidst the distractions of '21. I expect them to hurt some teams badly this season and really am expecting Davis to go off.

Except Saleh doesn't 'want him gone'. The scuttlebutt around the team right now is that Douglas is the one who wants to draft an OT and Saleh doesn't.. jets fans may want him gone, but that's the only people talking about it in any real sense.

Anyone who thinks Becton isn't putting a Jets jersey again is an idiot. There's some concerns, but that is a dumb statement.

So you disagree that McKenzie is a good guy in the locker room and liked by Bills players or that it matters?

Is anyone still confused why McKenzie is on the team? Some guys have value beyond their production on the field. Same way Allen seems to be best friends with everyone he meets. It matters.

being an outlier doesn't imply genius.. usually the opposite.

The economics on stadiums is pretty set. Even with secondary/tertiary jobs / etc, they have a tough time covering the straight up costs. I ask, does anyone on here care? Not every project needs to be a profit maker.
