  1. yeah, thanks. I'm awful with the search. Mods, feel free to close!
  2. I'm sure there is a thread. I tried the search feature, didn't see one. So here's the article: http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/22876828/terrelle-pryor-sr-agrees-deal-new-york-jets If the Jets cut Anderson (don't see that happening), I'd go after him (depending on what the arrests were for). Enunwa would be another nice target if he gets cut.
  3. This is great. Hopefully takes them out of a "draft a QB" mode.
  4. Perhaps Denver takes him? I can see a team with an established starter but no "long term" starter taking a flyer on him.
  5. wow, that's a good question. In his prime, I might take Bowman. Guy was a stud, then again, so was Willis. I'd love to get Bowman cheap (went to PSU I think, Pegs get on it!); and as you suggested, a few other ILB's as insurance.
  6. Same here. Sounds fun!
  7. this sucks. He was our best WR last year, I think. Blocked, got contested balls, etc. Hopefully we draft a Chark now!
  8. not a bad strategy, unless the Browns are wed to Barkely at 4. But Browns would be foolish, IMO, to be wed to a RB that early. Lots of great RB's in this draft, and CLE could totally rebuild their team with more picks smartly deployed. I'd prefer Mayfield, but Rosen is my 2nd QB choice. nothing else to do. It's pre-draft time baby!!! Enjoy the craziness!!!!!!
  9. This makes sense for the Giants. There are other good RB's, and getting someone like L. Jackson or M. White or Falk in the 2nd would be great for the Giants. Can learn from Eli for 2 years. Then the Giants can beef-up the O and D lines and add a RB (one of the Georgia guys>?). I can't see them drafting a QB at 2. It's like saying to Manning, "thanks for resigning, but we have given up on winning while your here. Teach this guy."
  10. Oh please do it! And have the Jets draft Allen. Dream situation. Then we get Mayfield or Rosen.
  11. Navarro Boweman still out there>?
  12. Good question. I guess it depends on who the #4 QB is, and where he is ranked on the Bills board. For the Bills, the "4th best" could be the guy they have at #1.
  13. interesting point. The concussions are concerning, however.
  14. always wondered how JuJu or any WR would have done on this team with the lack of talent at QB. JuJu is great, but he could have looked pedestrian for us last year. Man, I like Zay. This is just totally nutso. We may have to keep our picks and draft a few WR's. Chark, St. Browne, the guy from Indiana.
  15. clearing cap room is my guess. he's effective, but likely can find a replacement in the draft. I'd take him if he were cheap.
  16. what if the FO thinks a guy is our guy and will be there at 12. I'm thinking this could be the case.
  17. I think we address this during the draft. Hopefully Chark at WR, and a younger version of Shady. LB's also.
  18. yeah. that is bizarre to me. Jeremiah must think that Allen has "Cam Newton" skills or whatever the current narrative is. Watson won a freaking National Championship, and was a main reason Clemson won. But if based on initial draft grade, it shows how those can be skewed. interesting...
  19. this mock draft is like click-bait. It's terrible. The Giants taking a guard over Barkley (there are other top guards available in the 2nd round. Only one talent like Barkely). And I'm sick of the lazy, "Allen has a big arm. He'll be great in Buffalo." What on earth does that mean. Or the Brooks lazy "some Cam like Newton athletic abilities" (which are never explained, because the relation is tenuous at best.). Allen looks more like Jake Locker, IMO. Evans is nice, but the draft is totally ruined by taking Allen over Mayfield.
  20. yeah, for sure. I will be texting my Jets friends and just laughing that they traded all those picks for Allen to learn for one year. Would be the best scenario. Hardly the same thing the team has done for 20 years. You can't force one of these teams to make a trade that works. And 12 is a good spot. The QB they want could very well be there (Jackson, Mayfield).
  21. I'd be game for that. Get Mayfield or Rosen. I hope you are correct the Jets taking Allen. Perhaps their plan w/ giving McKnown $10 mill is that he teaches Allen and Bridgewater.
  22. Not really. We have a ton of holes in the roster. We got KEY contributors last draft (White, Dawkins, Milano); and even if we stay at 12, we could get a QB the FO feels is on-par with one of the guys picked in the top 10. If they feel someone like Falk, White, or Roudolph is the best, they may even go LB, DL, or something in the 1st and grab one of those in the 2nd.
  23. So true. That will provide instant comedic value. Then we draft a QB at 12 who is better than whomever the Jets draft. Even better!
  24. They also talk about "availability." Rosen is one concussion away from perhaps not playing. That is what worries me. My two favs. are Mayfield and Rosen, in that order. If we take Allen, blah.
  25. I think Bean said no more "big" FA signings. This is a pure depth signing. We are likely drafting an OT at some point, as well as seeing how Conor McDermitt plays.
