  1. Apparently facts don't matter to you. Is Allen surrounded by as much talent as Mahomes? Did he sit for a year and learn from Reid and A. Smith. Does Allen have anyone of the caliber (or near it) to Reid to discuss plays with during the game?
  2. he can also learn by sitting on the bench and watching a vet. worked for many QB's, Mahomes the most recent example. Although Goff is an example of playing right away helping. At any rate, any QB will look terrible with this OL and WR group. this is a ridiculous cliche around here. If this were true, Hughes, McCoy, and Benjamin would not be on this team, to name a few. And White would not be tweeting at Mike R. (which I loved, btw). Exactly. The play calling has been atrocious. And how about bringing in a real QB coach.
  3. a good point. the lack of coaching on this team is terrible. Neither Peterman nor Allen have progressed at all since they were drafted. Hopefully Anderson can help with that. I'd grab antoher Vet to replace Peterman also.
  4. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/2018/ufa/quarterback/available/ Looks like Landry Jones and Matt Moore are available as Peterman replacements. I want NP gone and KB benched.
  5. they have a shot at Teddy in FA next year.
  6. Here they are: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/2018/ufa/quarterback/available/ time to bring in Landry Jones to replace Peterman.
  7. Mahomes has Andy Reid, T. Hill, and a much better O-line.
  8. Peterman. Benjamin should watch the games from the sidelines. Don't cut him and let the malcontent go elsewhere.
  9. cut Peterman regardless and bring someone else in. Is Landry Jones available? Peterman can be on the practice squad since he is allegedly fantastic in practice.
  10. I didn't like that he was laughing about it. Literally cost the team a 1st down there. He better cut it. Prob laughing because he never thought it would happen. Now it did. Time to cut it.
  11. Imagine how good the D would be if we didn't lead the NFL in % of drives ending in 3 and out. I think the D is top 3 as is, and would be the top if it had ANY help from this terrible offense.
  12. I agree. Allen needs to sit (like Mahomes did) and learn. Mahomes was allegedly "raw" coming out of college--similar to Allen. Let Anderson play and Allen can learn from a vet. Might also expose what WR's are worth keeping around next year or not.
  13. exactly. Who is going to want to play v. the Jags in London w/ that tax bill. One hang-up. If someone pays your taxes for you, that amount is then taxed as income (at least under IRS rules)
  14. explain I agree. I think it depends on whether the coaches see progression or regression. If regression, they bench him so he can learn by watching. If progression, no need to pull him.
  15. Just Win Baby!!! Ugly, or not. I'd take ugly over a high scoring loss any-day.
  16. This is a totally conclusion statement, with zero evidence. I think the plan was for McCarron to be the vet, until he stunk. Benching him does not mean he's done in Buffalo.
  17. It's not the end of the world if it happens. Mahomes, who was thought to be "raw" coming out sat for a year, and is now tearing it up. There is something to be said for having a "raw-ish" QB learn by watching and talking to the vet who is on the field. It would also demonstrate how bad the WR's are, or aren't.
  18. OL is bad in FA. Some interesting WR's, RB, and perhaps others. We are going to have to draft well on the OL.
  19. that's why I think it has to be for a 1st. You sell it as: (1) getting a great return; and (2) letting Shady go 'home'. If you get a 1st, I think everyone would understand that's a win. Anything else, clearly a "white-flag" on this season.
  20. Graham was good when here. A good depth guy if he is a FA. But I've been impressed with the young guys we have brought in for the secondary.
  21. (1) Allen does need to develop; but (2) the supporting cast sucks. Allegedly #1 WR KB looks disinterested. Zay Jones looks interested and is improving. Clay had a decent game. Allen will improve as the season goes along. I'd just tell Allen to trust the play call and put the ball where it is supposed to be. If the WR does not get there, that's on the WR. Eventually we will get a more competent supporting cast. It's also hard for a rookie to perform better when he hears footsteps because the OL is jelly. And I was a "don't-draft" Allen type prior to the season. But some of the takes on him so far have been ridiculous. National media at one point says we have the worst WR and O-line group, and then another outlet says that is not holding Allen back. Simply laughable.
  22. exactly. the way some people act, Watkins and Woods are A.B. and JuJu.
