  1. I take him. He can stay in the Buffalo area and go to Med School and work out in the off season. I think there have been other football players that have Med or Law degrees. His 2017 season was ridiculous. Then he got injured. I think he is very dedicated to both football and being a future Dr. If he was "just playing football," and not "dedicated" his 2017 season does not happen. And really, 4.5 yards in 2018 is not bad.
  2. If I'm the Cardinals, and I think Murray is better than Rosen, I take him #1 and try to trade Rosen somewhere for a 1st. Perhaps the Giants?
  3. putting Wade on that list makes it too easy, IMO.
  4. I'm totally sick of hearing about Lamar Jackson and Rosen. They are worse than Allen. Particularly, when I hear that Rosen had a "bad supporting cast." He has a HOF WR who is still productive, a great rookie WR, and a pro-bowl RB.
  5. Hardly over. Either the AAF, or XFL. Most likely, if he continues on his current trajectory, AAF for a year, then XFL. It is a good point the AAF may not take him, BUT, the XFL will.
  6. I totally agree, esp. on the OL. We need vets to protect and assist Allen, and to help the young OL that will be drafted in the later rounds. I'd still go BPA in 1st round, which is likely a DL or TE. But if OL, I'm still taking OL there.
  7. I think Williams is the next Foster on this team. Immense talent that under-performed in college for whatever reason. We got the talent out of Foster in the 1/2 of the season. If Foster brings that (and hopefully more) all year, and Williams brings it, and our new draft-pick/FA brings it, we could suddenly have a good WR corp. I'm optimistic that we will turn around the WR's as quickly as we did the secondary when we added Hyde, Poyer, and drafted White (and got Wallace).
  8. Would love to add Love at RB. Also would like J. James in FA, and a TE in the draft. Great #1 Receivers do come in all sizes (Megatron v. AB, for example).
  9. I can see the Rams making a run at him. Or Minn. Or even Saints.
  10. Love is the ideal RB for this team to target. Likely mid-round pick, and has the talent to take over for Shady.
  11. HE can't say what the plan really is. That would be completely moronic. "Gee, I think Croom could be a TE2 someday. But without Clay we need a FA and a draft pick at the position." That just drives up the price of James, Cook, etc., as well as creates drafting issues. I love these press conferences to see how much someone can say, without saying a thing.
  12. I'd do a 6th for him. Not much higher. We have gotten great picks/useful picks in rounds 5 and up in the past few drafts.
  13. BOTH TO INDY????!!! Hopefully not enough cash for that. You're right. That team would be a juggernaut. Hopefully we get our Brown in this years draft, (or Foster might be him??); and add a Bell. A good OL is the key to both.
  14. A Donte Thompson upgrade? A 3rd WR that could become the number 2 depending on how Zay performs. All things considered, it is a cost issue. If low cost, yeah. Would help with the intermediate routes.
  15. Thanks for the insight! How do you think the RB Snell, JR. would fit on the Bills? I've seen him at various places in various mock drafts. Would love to get this kid. Could be a solid backup then starter. We need safety depth.
  16. Imagine getting AB for a 3rd this year, and 2nd next. Then trading down in the draft. Grabbing a OT in the 1st, then WR Deebo Samuel in the 2nd. Suddenly, we have a top WR team. Then we use the 3rd (that we get from trading down) on another OT, or DT. good point. The Steelers would take that in a minute.
  17. I think his best fit is on the Colts. Do the Colts give up their 1st to get it done??
  18. Chris Slayton, DT Syracuse. I see him moving into the 2nd or even late 1st round. The guy can do it all, and was consistently double-teamed at Cuse.
  19. I like it. If guys like Lacy are on the "fringe" of the roster, that means we are brining in the competition. He was a below-average LB, but prob average ST player.
  20. I think a TE like James is important because he can be counted upon to block and make the short, 5-15 yard plays that move the chains on a consistent basis. We don't have anyone who can do that. Also, I want John Brown. Him and Foster would be an amazing combo. Get both!!
  21. As someone who lives in Pittsburgh, James is the real deal. Great all-around TE. Was great at PSU also. Can perform all TE functions at an above-average level. Has great hands and will help with the intermediate routes. Can block well. And will fit in with the Bills, as someone who got screwed by the refs against the Pats****. I'm not sure what, if any, Steeler fans are happy for him to go??? The Steelers are going to miss his all-around ability. He filled-in after Heath Miller retired. Their other TE is a pure pass catcher. James is a huge upgrade over Clay and Croom. A combo of James and Croom is a legit combo. Also allows us to draft a TE in round 3 (since it's a deep TE draft).
  22. Kraft not the biggest name involved. What???? Other NFL folks? Or others? Also, wtf is Kraft at a shady massage parlor? He could find a gold digger rather easily if he wanted.
  23. Seems like we finally have a capable GM and HC. Here is a question: given the terrible GM's we had, would having Payton have made a difference? Clearly we win more games than with Jauron, but in terms of the overall picture, would our GM have let him go after Brees, etc.? Picking Jauron over Payton is just terrible. Reminds me of hiring decisions that are made because someone has "put in their time," over merit.
  24. Here is mine. I set it on hard. It seems unrealistic: 1: R1P9 DL QUINNEN WILLIAMS ALABAMA 2: R2P9 RB JOSH JACOBS (can't pass up the best RB) ALABAMA 3: R3P7 WR DEEBO SAMUEL (another playmaker!) SOUTH CAROLINA 4: R4P11 G BEN POWERS (I figure OL is addressed in FA. But here is another addition). OKLAHOMA 5: R4P29 TE ISAAC NAUTA GEORGIA 6: R5P10 EDGE L.J. COLLIER TCU 7: R5P20 OT KALEB MCGARY WASHINGTON 8: R6P9 CB HAMP CHEEVERS BOSTON COLLEGE 9: R7P8 LB CAMERON SMITH USC 10: R7P14 C SAM MUSTIPHER NOTRE DAME I think we address OL in FA. I think MCD and Bean will want experience protecting JA and improving the running game.
