  1. Wendy's Chili is better than Skyline chili. It's such a disappointment. Weak flavor, etc.
  2. this is the problem with fining every helmet to helmet hit. Eventually, a small minority of knucklehead players will say, "wtf," I'm going to be fined anyway, might as well lead with the helmet sometimes. They really need to try to determine intent in these plays. When you lead with your schoulder and the other guy moves and it ends up being helmet to helmet, that should not be a fine. The most ridiculous proposed helmet hit fine this year is on Raiders safety Abrams. It appears here the NFL will argue "intent." (it's all it can). So what is it NFL, intent, or actual hit. Having it both ways is absurd. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/09/14/adding-insult-to-injury-nfl-fines-johnathan-abram/ if they are going to issue a fine, both should be.
  3. They are different. A cheap shot on a QB is WORSE. If you let people cheap shot your QB, then it will happen all game and every game. Also, it draws the Ref's attention. Yeah, he missed the initial call and called unnecessary roughness on Ford, but you can bet that McD explained to the Ref why it happened and they'll be quicker to throw roughing the passer if the D tries anything like that again. Also, the Gronk play was an extraordinary cheap shot and someone should have gotten in Gronk's face. Bingo. You stop the other teams from doing this nonsense and it won't happen later on in the season.
  4. a lotto system would be great. The Dolphins are clearly in tank mode. They will be 0-16
  5. I could see the Steelers wanting him. They have secondary issues and he could help solve them. I’d like to see him in buffalo but unlikely with Mia being in the division, the price couples with our already strong secondary.
  6. yep. look in the App store for fanduel sportsbook. Right now It only works in certain states, but likely expanding.
  7. McDermott's Monsters
  8. Thanks!! how does Money Line work? I just downloaded FanDuel Sports Book. Often it's like, "bet 25, win 10" or something. Not sure why betting 25 isn't a 25 win.
  9. AB is in our division, "almost" came here, and JA is a quiet leader who lets his play and performance speak for itself. AB lends himself to more posts during the week.

  11. interesting. Now don't like T. Gonzalez!
  12. love the idea of a LB/DB bracket. I'd use Poyer, I think he's the better run stopper of the two (Poyer or Neal).
  13. I'd like to see Duke up here. I think he makes some "uncatchable" catches. Cole on the bad is interesting, but yeah, the drops were surprising. I think once him and Allen get more on the same page in game environments, he becomes a pro-bowl caliber year! He was always open yesterday. He can become an extension of the run game the way the Pats use the run game with their slot receiver getting 4-8 yard chunks. I think Foster shows up. If he had a bad toe injury, then even if that's healed, he's not fully in shape yet cardio wise. I'd give it a few games. Very glad we have Brown, he is a beast, and the Singletary pick looks great. Lawson was everywhere. Great point about the second effort. He likely isn't a guy who gets a sack in a first move, but he can bat it down, or provide a sack on cleanup. His technique and effort were outstanding yesterday. WE'll need his run D v. Barkely!
  14. Cleveland is going to be pissed after how they started against a very surprisingly balanced Tenn team. I won't be surprised though if this game ends up being high scoring. The Cle D allowing points to Tenn is worrisome, but I expect OBJ and Mayfield to exploit the Jets secondary.
  15. Beasley and Brown all day??? Some Singletary to control the clock? Hopefully Foster is back!
  16. Hyde on Engram would be good. Still not sure even Milano on Barkely is sufficient. Perhpas Milano/Poyer combo? Looking forward to it. We have a great D. They should be up to the task. But Barkley is a beast. He will get his, but we can't let him beat us.
  17. interesting read. I hope and think Shaq will continue this trajectory. He's always been solid against the run and is a much improved pass rusher. He keeps this up, it would be money well spent. Then draft someone to play opposite him/provide depth while Hughes is still playing at a high level. One "vet" and one "rookie contract" pass rusher is a good format, IMO.
  18. what happens if you picked Arizona or Det? (tie game). I picked the Ravens, btw. week 2 is tough. I'm thinking I may go Browns over Jets. Would take Ravens over AZ, already used them. Or I could go Pats over Miami, and just go team playing MIA all year?
  19. yeah I started Beasley in daily fantasy. Beasley will be okay for you. Lots of ability to have big yardage games. Crowder is going to be a PPR beast I think.
  20. the safety was bizzare to me. Why not QB sneak it. The Jets DL is very good, and you're handing Gore the ball in the endzone. Get out of the endzone. Have Allen fall a yard forward.
  21. He looked off the safety, so I'm not sure he saw the flag on the play. I think he was intending on hitting JB with Beasley as a 2nd option. Perhaps too optimistic there, but I think it was just a great play.
  22. Bell is elusive. It's hard to tackle him for some reason. That said, we need to tackle better. Barkley will be a good test for the new DL.
  23. of course, the announcers were terrible. I think one thought J. Brown was on the Jets at one point. You make your own "luck." If we played like the Jets in the first half, we'd be complementing our D on getting tips and converting to INT's, and for getting the safety. The tip was a poorly thrown ball by Josh, and the safety was terrible play-calling. I"m not sure our O-line was dominating the Jets in the 1st half. The D-line was dominating the Jets OL, but not our OL in the first half.
