the overall question is what will he be worth that 5th year? Dak is saying I'm going to be worth more because I will produce, Dallas is saying you'll be worth X, even if you do produce. Why not make the 5th year incentive based on a combo of individual stats and team performance?

wasn't disagreeing. But if its this deal or nothing, I'd take this deal. Ideally he can get it to 4, or with a player option for year 5. But if it's this or nothing, I'm taking this. He'll be 31 at the end of a 5 year deal, and Dallas offense will enable him to be very productive.

Dak is insane not to accept this contract, or try to get a shorter-contract with the average annual value the same as you suggest. If he wants to be on himself, fine. That should work for both Dallas and Dak, IMO.

Thanks to the OP for this. I'd actually move us up to 3 or 4. Not a huge fan of the Browns and Indy ahead of us. I can see the arguments for Tampa, Dallas, and Denver ahead of us. I also though that Balt would be higher on this list. They had a great draft and decent FA signings, albeit it seems some of the FA signings represented no upgrade, but no downgrade either. we will. lots of hungry players and MUCH better coaching staff!

I'd only trade for Wilson or Mahomes. I also think Bridgewater is going to surprise people this year and possibly make the Pro Bowl.

I think Trey will take the opportunity seriously. The dude clearly loves football, as evidenced by playing after 2 serious injuries and with a bulky back last year. He is also known as a good technician, which indicates that he studies the game/position. Then as an UDFA, he made two Buffalo Bills hype videos. I think he is excited to be here.

I love this idea. it's also easier to be "socially distant" outside in a parking lot than in a stadium where you are literally on top of each other. It could be done. The naysayers just lack creativity of how it could be done. If you can shop INSIDE in a grocery store, there is no reason they can't come up with a socially distant way to be present at a football game OUTSIDE.

wow, didn't realize Schaub is still playing. I think ranking the rookies at all is a bit misleading, given that they have never played a down. That said, I agree with the importance of having a good backup, esp. with a mobile QB like Allen. I'd go after Cam and/or try to upgrade from anyone who is cut.

yeah this ranking is neat. I've never seen a "coaches" power ranking. I'd prob put MCD ahead of Zimmer, but that might be it. Will be nice when he is #1 next season after our SB victory!

everywhere (Fanatics, NFL, and *****) appears sold out of Diggs and White jerseys in normal sizes. I think they will have more closer to the season. the ProLine jerseys on NFL, Fanatics, (which I think even makes some of its own legit jerseys) and ***** look great. Better than the Nike ones, IMO.
