I didn’t mind 4 preseason games. Liked seeing the young guys who were drafted and the nfl journeyman that you likely otherwise never get to see play.

5 seems right, esp if you are projecting the same percentage improvement from season 1-2 onto 2-3.

generally, this is correct. But not winning a playoff game since 1995, the "sky is falling" fans have been more correct than not. Further, the Pats** won the division last year with a version of Brady who is worse that current Cam. The Pats just got better than they were last year.

yep. I’m simply saying that someone who is a better run stuffer and good against the pass would be enable Edmunds to be even more dangerous with his skill set at olb. I guess if Milano wants 10 mill per you have to let him walk. He doesn't impact opposing teams the way Edmunds does, and hopefully we can draft a replacement. (Also depends on the cap at the time.).

I think the issue is that McD is always conservative. there is no variety or toying with the other teams. with the passing weapons we have we should pass sometimes on 3rd and less than 5.

his stats are sick. Edmunds is def top 10. and his ceiling is massive. I’d still love to see a better run stuffer and pass defender there, and Edmunds outside, but he fits the bill inside esp with out DT’s.

I think football happens in the fall or spring. that said, lets do this hypo where it and college does not happen. I think the draft will go like this: a lotto system, where the picks will be televised because the NFL can make a show out of anything. The number of balls may correlate to the past years draft picks based in records (the draft order would eliminate trades and simply go by team record. worst record, more balls). To make it even more interesting/crazy, you could do the lotto before each round, with the number of balls in that round related to the position of pick in last round. I think every team would get a 1st if there is no season, otherwise what you just explained would be true and unfair. basically making past trades worth more to the receiving team. The Steelers would hate this also as it traded a 1st for safety Fitzpatrick.

if there is no season, it will be interesting to see how they order the draft next year. but I think we have a spring season.

I'm assuming that just like this year for spring sports, college seniors in fall sports would get another year of eligibility. Would make the draft totally crazy. Hopefully the NCAA would take back players that didn't get drafted. Although, I think College Football happens, it could be in the Spring, and that would likely push the draft back. It would also glue me to tv: Lacrosse, College Football, and College basketball at the same time!!!

I think EJ gets traded if he and Norman and Wallace all have good camps. EJ has the injury bug, we need availability, and some team with a CB injury would trade for EJ. On offense, I'm not sure any of the cuts would surprise me. As much as Murphy is overpaid, I'd keep him because if there are injuries, he is a fantastic backup/rotational guy.

I like this idea a lot. It basically protects players like Fromm, Foster, etc. from being poached because they could be needed due to COVID.
