    this might be a good point. Ben had some bizzarly off target passes to wide open guys, mostly RB Harris. That said, our OL and DL are albatrosses that Bean did nothing of any import with, and we will pay the price for that against good teams. Our offensive playcalling is also a disaster against good teams when you need a more balanced approach.

    both the protection and the punter was horrid on that play. Total disaster, really, a one play picture of the Bills entire game.

    I agree with you, he was too slow getting the punt off, esp. since Steelers showed a max blitz/block on the play. Shouldn't have been a surprise. And some punters would have you know, moved to the side, etc.

    I think we have an OC problem. If I'm Bean I'm having a talk with Daboll after today's disaster, which follows other similar disasters against good defenses.

    OC needs to be better also. You play one dimensional, you lose to good teams. Every time.

    Haak needed to move to the side, not hold the ball so long, he should have seen max block, and tried anything to get at least a shank punt.

    he may turn out to be a beast, but being in the backfield and not doing much is not really impactful. We have low standards for our DE's. Basham was not dressed. Great pick Bean. Meanwhile, KC is starting Bolton at LB. AJ Epanesa was also invisible today.

    I think the point is our other CBs are not good enough. Glad we drafted 2 non-impactful DE's, one of whom was inactive.

    and Bean, failure to address issues from last offseason. Other teams did, notably KC. Ours didn't.

    I can see that. The Steelers did hold a ton, but that happens. Elite DL's get by it. And Haack did have nice punts, but you simply need to punt different when a team is showing max block. He held it too long doing his usual setup. A 10 yard punt there is better than a block.

    nope. our weaknesses from last year were not fixed and now greater exposed. we will be a wildcard team if that.

    time to say it. Bean SUCKS. —Terrible draft choices on DL —Fails to fix a bad OL. —Fails to fix cb2. —Gets a new punter who sucks, and held ball too long during max protect. —Allows OC to continue crappy play calling.
