  1. Also, cue the ready made excuses for Edmunds. "Star is out." An elite MLB does not need "Star" to be there, just someone slightly competent. We also need to find a replacement for Star, always did. Bean's offseason and draft failure right here. (Bean did a lot of good stuff, but not getting a replacement here is bad. Hopefully someone is on a PS somewhere).
  2. the lack of a good backup beyond "hope" is/was annoying. We "hope" Star is back, then "hope" he is impactful. Same for Harry. It's not a good plan. Look at a player like Vea on Tampa last night. Even without that guys athletic ability to disrupt the pass, he makes a huge impact in run D. We have nothing like that.
  3. Subway bread is awful compared to competitors.
  4. does not help when said annoying goof is being announced by annoying collinsworth in his goof mode and handed critical non calls by refs.
  5. Agreed. Holding never gets called on Brady’s OL. Meanwhile all sorts of barley holding called on Dallas. That was such a clear OPI the end of the game also, so clear that thr “announcer ref in the booth” even thought it was. anyone but Brady and it’s OPI
  6. just really sick of Brady getting all the calls. The non call of offensive pass interference was awful, combined with ticky tack holding calls on Dallas.
  7. good call with AJ!! Only allowed me to put 3 in the poll.
  8. BS meter high here.
  9. wtf is going on there? this is like statistically impossible. What are they doing? What is the playing surface? Cleats fitting correctly>? Poor offseason conditioning program? in terms of fantasy, is it Bell or the other RB we should be planning to play? (thinking either is a cheap DFS option) How is their O-line
  10. With some players "flashing" potential, or not, over the past few years, I wanted to get everyone's take on whether the following players will have a "breakout" year. What does "breakout" mean, I have no idea. I suppose it is to become an impact player that other teams plan around and also have impacts on the game that show up in stats. But whatever it is to you, will these guys have a breakout year?
  11. what the heck. The ones in PGH are a Pizza Hut (N. Hills) and Mario's on the South Side. Need something better up north!
  12. The return of nearly our entire offense from last season, and with upgrades at WR. The upgrade of our pass rush during the draft. Prediction of a better offense, plus better defense=SB contenders. I still think Tampa is the team to beat, but I think we will wind up in the SB against them.
  13. where can we find the official list of Bills Backer locations?
  14. Agree. Go for the jugular as you stated. Also, I'm fine running the score up. Get a huge lead, then let the backups PLAY to get experience. No putting a backup QB in to hand off the ball. Put him in there to score.
  15. the laugh was at espn. seems they are desperate for clicks. i didn’t click.
  16. ahhhh. your tastebuds will strike. Genny Light. yuck. Cream Ale, delicious. that appears to be from a Cle fan account. Biased.
  17. Thanks for this. I agree, a list with Bruce and OJ that far down is ridiculous. If you want to leave OJ off because he’s a murder, fine. But 40, and the NFL sack leader at 20? Joke. White is fine there, but I agree with you that Bruce should be right around there
  18. I think a off the street space eater could fill in for Star. He really brings nothing special, IMO. Just a average space eater. And we should have obtained one in Fa or the draft. In terms of Bease replacement, I think a healthy McKenzie would be better than broken leg Beasley, and Sanders is also a great option at depth. Point being, I’m not worried about these two guys. They are guys who if you can’t replace via personnel and game plan you have issues. He def helps, but can be replaced with another average DT space eater. I think the big improvement will be Groot and actual pass rushers. Star is an average space eater, IMO. For whatever reason we never obtained an actual backup for him, really bizarre.
  19. Star is overrated in any event, IMO. He can be replaced as a space eater. Beasley not so much. Perhaps Kumerow will replace him.
  20. CB or Center. Center has to set the blocking with the other OL, while worry about getting a clean snap and blocking instantly.
  21. agree. he will have a good number year there and turn it into a large contract next year there or elsewhere.
  22. I think once we get big leads, Moss will be the yardage grinder. Motor and Breida will both do well in helping to get those leads, but I can’t envision 1,000 yards for either.
  23. that’s odd, did Ditect TV tell you the tree blocks the signal, if so you should be able to get streaming. I had a blockage at my address and am able to get the streaming service. I’d calm them and explain the situation, that’s what I did a few years ago.
