  1. I just disagreed with you, I clicked the "disagree." not a personal attack. The "catch on fire" thing seems a bit far-fetched. Meanwhile, fans have thrown batteries onto the field at NFL games, etc.
  2. Man, I hope this D-line and Harry continue to play at the level they have the past few weeks. The lines finally playing well equals a SB win, IMO.
  3. i get worried with Hyde back there. Don't want him getting injured. Almost ridiculous one of our backup WRs can't handle a punt return. Like you think if you're a backup WR you'd work on that every day to get on the field.
  4. They would be insane not to keep him. This team lost its HC to a sandal, then an all-pro WR to a horrific crime. He kept the team going and made the playoffs. Also was smart how he handled OT in game last week (would have went for the tie due to chances of kick getting blocked, but went for the win when the kick was shorter). Guy seems like a good in game and out of game coach.
  5. do it. it's freaking going to be freezing. i doubt they turn you away. the restriction on battery warming devices is absurd at games like this. I think they are worried about people taking the batteries out and throwing them onto the field.
  6. weather. plain and simple. I’d live to take my 9 year old to it but the drove and weather would kill him. build a dome.
  7. Watson would be a great fit in Indy.
  8. Mitch wants to start in the league and he did come here, so your premise is incorrect. Minshew available?
  9. i believe Watt was playing hurt.
  10. some equipment manager should be finding him specialized socks in the meantime. also, if poor circulation, that would impact his hands as well.
  11. can't have 3rd quarters like the in the playoffs. Another instance of the O disappearing for long stretches. Everyone needs to wake up. New season. LETS GOOOO!!
  12. we have to start out fast on offense. (and D and ST). We need to play all 60 min in the playoffs. We can't disappear or play down like we did v. ATL and NYJ (or only 1/2 v. Tampa). We can beat anyone. Let's do it.
  13. I'd draft a punter. 6th or 7th. I think we got Bass in the 6th?
  14. Watt and Fitzpatrick can create turnovers. PGH also has Cam Hayward on DL.
  15. Yes. TJ Watt is healthy for this game. The Steelers have the D that can confuse KC. Plus, the Steelers were embarrassed by KC earlier, could serve as extra motivation. If PGH can possess the ball using Harris and quick passes (PGH O line is a disaster), I think PGH D can keep it close. I would bet on PGH, esp. if the spread is at 12 or 14.
  16. tons of very good coordinators are not great HC.
  17. this happened to the Pats* all the time and they kept winning. If Allen is as good as we think and McD is the real deal, we will lose coordinators and need to be able to replace them. He would forget he had D. Cook if on the Vikings. haha. I kid, kind of. I think the Raiders are insane if they move on from their interim coach.
  18. OL seems to be playing better of late as well.
  19. hope that game is later in the year. We need White at 100%, and we need to resign Wallace as well. Another run-stopping DT in the draft. The Bengals offense is loaded.
  20. I like this, if we win Sat then we are the new sheriff in town.
  21. I think that's a possibility with the Steelers defense.
  22. if I'm Denver, Minn, or Jacksonville I'm calling him NOW. Better talent in all those places than in Miami. Vikings would be amazing if he went there. Tons of talent on that team.
  23. no one is complaining. But, if you want a complaint, we should be the 1 seed. Lots of those points came against bad teams. This isn't a fantasy league where points scored and points allowed win you something. We should have beaten Tenn, and Tampa, but in both games the Bills vanished at key times. Oh, also should have beaten Jax.
  24. that was a good call. But those wins were more of a struggle than you anticipated perhaps? (Falcons and last game with our offense v. the worse D in NFL).
  25. totally. great coach held back by lack of qb play. may be one of many who are better coordinators than HC’s, and there is no shame in that.
